You can tell people to watch out when Cleveland wins a district or region championship! If they don't this year or next year, it could be awhile. Thanks for the info tngirl, I needed that to figure out my match-ups.

I heard that a girl for "The Ridge" is pregnant. We'll see if they get past Bradley Central in December. Personally I think they lost two much and Burkey was a big part of the success of that team in the 90's. There are alot of tough teams up there in the Northeast and I really don't see Oak Ridge getting outta the sub-state, but if Brooke can be a leader and get some team chemistry under their belt, they could possibly make a run.

Have you ever been in a huddle with Harlow? Have you ever been around him after a big win. after the season ended? Probably not. I've caught the bad end of the man and the good! I'll tell you this much the good end far out ways the bad. He was all over Kristen Reynolds Friday against Mt. Juliet..and you know what...she kept her eyes on coach the whole time he chewed her out. That is discipline and college scouts like that! I've been chewed out by the man when I was an assistant...I'll tell you this much...when I got chewed..I deserved it! Of course Coach encouraged me many of times...that's why I think he's a great coach cause I remember the good times...the big wins and seeing the girls go off to college and being successful! That's really what it is all about...Getting the players to institutions of higher learning and seeing them excel! When you get in the huddle and get chewed...or get the call to take the big shot..you can talk about the man! As far as I'm concerned.....he is a great coach and person even though I curse him every now and then...of course who doesn't curse their old coaches on occasion! I certainly do and I bet everyone esle does! Just stick you head in the huddle or come in the locker room after the game and then you can talk about the Coach!

I can see Craigmont in the state! You really can't tell once you get to the State tournament who is going to win...well except when Shelbyville is there! Maybe I ought to change this to the top eight teams who people think that will be present! After the playday at Shelbyville, I think I can get some of those, but I'll need help from all you West Tennessee people! I don't need to know why...just who can make it and the reason they will. Number 41 for Loretto looked really good. #22 for Mt. Juliet had a great game also! Wilson Central had a point guard that was real athletic #24! Hensly has a beautiful shot! (Jackson County) Overall I enjoyed being a fan of the game at Shelbyville and seeing all the talent that is coming up!

Let's see...Holly Rogers taking about 25 to 30 shots a game? Yeah that is what you can expect! I'd like to see Allison Radar score some points. Pretty good four! 2) Cleveland They just can't win the big games (finals)! and believe me it isn't the talent! Watch out cause Burnett is going to be MVP! She'll thrive off Rogers bricks...if she has that many! 3) McMinn County They always finish in the top three! They may be the sleeper, but I really don't think so because they didn't have any standout players coming from Sweetwater! 4) Cumberland Co. Poor coach Breazeal! I saw this team at the Shelbyville Play day! They are extremely raw! I think they have potential though! But can someone tell Coach that the high-low game isn't going to work! 5) Rhea Co. I don't care if John Wooten gets the job at Rhea! They are going to be on the bottom! It's just there place! Good Luck on getting just one district win. Well since District 6-AAA is still in the gutter and spread so thin in Chattanooga this will be the region tournament seedings also! So all you Middle Tennessee teams can beat on Bradley and Cleveland in the Sub-state!

Buckelew went to Bradley because she was having to play behing Holly Rogers at Cleveland. Plus the Cleveland coaching staff is not getting the job done with all the talent that Dawn Rogers has brought in. Why would Buckelew leave Cleveland? Hummm..maybe because even though they had the best talent they can't win district or region! That's a Coaching problem. She is a hard worker! Her only problem is footwork! Harlow is a genious at that phase of the game. Right now as far as college is concerned...middle Southern Conference. Utc won't take her because of footwork. She will be a asset to any team as soon as she steps on the floor. If she goes to Bradley, I think coaches will take notice more because of the coaching staff. Pat Summitt believes in the staff also! Words from her mouth! She has a couple of problems to tweek, but all in all, she can make a hugh difference. Only one thing I ask is that you don't tell Insell about her! That's all they need is a good 3 guard!

He's a good coach..it just seems he never can win. He was the same at Cleveland, but Perry County was a differnet story. hopefully he can right the ship!
