I think if RC can play 4 quarters of football they can win this one. Cleveland had McMinn on its heals until the ejections. RC has to find a running game and not rely so much on the pass to win this game. They do those things they will be in a position to win.

The secondary has been playing very well IMO, they have dropped some INT's but which team hasnt. Soddy in allot of ways is like Rhea County, They have a solid football team and they like to pass. If the Bears play inspired football like they have in the other district games they can win this one. I look for a close game and some hard practices this week to correct some mistakes on offense. Coach Floyd will have them ready. Question is will the players be ready to give 110%? To close to call at this point.

Football is a team sport,not a "my kid" sport, very bad post calling out the QB. Anyone who would do this is not a true Bear.

Politcis and drama? Our running back didnt even grow up in bradley county?? You idiots dont have a clue what your talking about. Hats off to Loudon for scoring with 38 seconds to go to win the game. You guys have a good football team. Good luck the rest of the season. Now Bear fans ,we are still 2-0 in the district and all the rest of the games are winnable. The Owls should be the hardest game left and they will be heavily favored, but there offense has had trouble this year. I am VERY proud of this Bear Coaching Staff and football team, The play calling wasnt great Friday night, but not to many people on the O side of the ball were playing all that well from what I seen. The D played very good, after the opening drive and score. Ok..Time to move on.. Go Bears! Lets go to the playoff's .

We run a variation of a spread that is run heavy,sometimes an I..depends on the down and distance,sometimes the gun.. Our FB Massengale has only had 1 or 2 negative gains all season that i can remember. Our running back Houston is very shifty and can fly in the open field. We will throw when we have to and when you dont expect it. Our QB is young but has a great arm and very good decisions most of the time. We will line up under center and the gun.O-Line has played great most of the year.Athletic at allot of the skill positions. Kicking game has been solid. Defensive line has played great since the first game, secondary even better. What we do on offense or defense isnt tricky or shiny,after a tough lesson vs Polk,they play for 4 quarters and dont give up.

Since you to think highly of peanut, Like I do, ask him what he thinks of the Shoe teams and some of the things that has went on the last 2 or 3 years. Mainly with SRT's and nationals and trying to control the board. As you said there are just a few sponsored teams but they have set the agenda for Tn Girls AAU and the national AAU has bent the rules specifically for them. The small clubs with 2 or fewer teams have been the ones to suffer because of it. Is this about getting better or the club director(s) making a ton of cash off of it? For allot,but not all, they do it to make money. If you know anything about it you know who they are and names dont need to be brought up.

Bradley Central will be young..But they are loaded once again after a couple of down years.

If the Bears dont turn the ball over they will win by 2 or 3 td's. I got a chance to see some of loudon on dvd.

Owls Defense is very good.. But your offense, by Owl fans on admission isnt very good . The #2 team in the state should be averaging more than 20 points a game.

I picked BC to beat Coffee Co., Cleveland, and East Ridge......Ya'll can beat Loudon, but it will be a test and Charlie is just picking,,,,play four quarters, you have a good chance....Charlie is giving D-FLo a as much as it pains me, BC has definitely improved in fundamentals, and more importantly discipline.....The exact opposite has happened at the Blue School,,,Charlie thinks the discipline and leadership went to Colorado.... I have been supporting for more years than you know.

Some of the large shoe clubs are about money and have ruined AAU. Why do you think the shoe companies are involved with it? The goodness of their heart? It's not about being afraid.. A local club has zero chance of beating a state recruited team unless they are talented beyond belief. So it comes down to spending thousands of dollars per parent in motels,gas and food only to get blown out by 40. This didnt used to be much of a problem in the younger age groups but they are doing it with them now starting in the 9 and 10's and allot of these idiot AAU coaches think its great to beat some little local team by 60 if possible. There are so many tournaments now that dont have AAU affiliation for a reason..So if you can play 25 to 30 games and not have to pay AAU fee's, its more money the Parents save and your playing on your teams level.

He probably doesn't want to argue that,,,I believe he said sophmores and juniors,,last time I checked that was 10th and 11th graders.....which is a true statement for Polk.... As for this BC vs Loudon,,, Loudon and Polk are alot alike, so I think it will be a TD game one way or the other, I'm picking Loudon... Loudon held an Alcoa offense to 21 points, the same Alcoa that put 40'something on Maryville,,,,,Bradley has played 1 good team and lost, here comes good team #2... The only time you have picked them to win was CHS right? or was there another gut wrenching pick for a win?, so whats new. Loudon may win, but i like my teams chances if they play for 4 quarters. As far as I know they are undefeated. The Polk score was something like 32-14..Thats not it but fairly close. Played sloppy against CHS but still won. Maybe someone else can chime in the exact scores.

In district 5-5A a 2-8 WVHS or 2-8 CHS could go to the playoffs..If the season plays out like it has been ,the winner of that one game will go to the playoff's. It's possible both will only have one win when they play each other.

Now..if the wildcats will stay out of here..Lets get back to the topic.. Does it look like anyone can defend the corner?..If they are that big and we cant move them we will have to hit the outside with the run and have Copeland hit them across the middle and the deep route a few times to open some running lanes up for the RB and FB. We can pass if we need to,thats the biggest difference in this seasons team. Whats the website?..I wanna look them over..Did you just google it? I wonder what kind of secondary they have?

Bigcat, What he said was BCHS had a letdown against Polk...I think getting beat by a 3A school was a HUGE letdown for us. After being up 14 to nothing the guys relaxed and let Polk back in the game..They learned a lesson from that. Polk has a good team, but in our black and gold colored glasses view, we feel we should have won the game and only ourselves to blame. Dont be shocked or pissed that we feel we should have won the game..Thats what fans do right? You expect us to go into a game thinking we are going to get beat?..Not anymore, We want to win them all..and right now we are one slip of the cleat away from being 5-0. 7 points is not a beatdown.. We have moved on but Polk fans apparently have not,if that was the highlight of your season then congrats. If the JV game we played the following monday is any indication ,then your in trouble next season.We get most all our skill guys back and we have good depth on the lines. The majority of your starting team IS NOT 9 and 10th graders.. Not even going to argue that. But we do have a freshman QB and a somphomore RB,soph WR's..and yet you only won by 6? Now go take that weak smack talk somewhere else. We have all given Polk credit for the win, so thats it..your not going to get anymore validation from Bear fans.. So stop trying to get it. Oh..BTW, The Bears have very few guys playing both sides of the ball.

I got hit with a Trojan this morning here, But it was caught with Avast.I posted the information and popup url referer in the Questions and comments section but someone deleted it? Anyway..I can confirm this site and or its pop ups are infecting machines with spyware and trojan ad downloaders. It seems to be eating up the sites bandwidth as well..Like the rest I have to reload the page over and over sometimes to get it to pull up the forums. If it were me, I would disable the ad's and only add them back 1 at a time till i found the culprit that is degrading the site performance. I would suggest everyone run some type of updated virus scanner if you dont already have one. Avast is a great free on but there are many others.

Don't know much about Loudon..other than they held Alcoa to 21 points in a loss and got beat by CAK.Spanked 2 other teams who seem to be down. Maybe some Loudon fans can fill us in on their skill position players. Bears have the areas leading rusher at HB and a tank that will punish you at FB. Big O and D lines, TE's and WR's with good hands and a very talented young QB and great secondary.Kicking game is solid. Looking forward to watching the Bears at home after being on the road for 4 weeks straight. I think the Bears win this one at home in front of an expected huge crowd. Go Bears!!!!

The players they used to get are going to the other 2 high schools and the county youth football league ,which started a few years ago, is churning out allot of excellent football players from the south end of the county.. In short, They aren't getting all the talent anymore and allot of it is going to Bradley Central and a few going to WVHS. Next problem is coaching turnover and switching the offense those guys have been running since 6th grade..now suddenly it's like starting all over again. No knock on E.K....but he was CHS 4th choice and the only guy with experience that would take the job. Monroe talked to CHS this summer, but the Director of schools insulted him with his requirements for the application process and he said "forget it" in his very special way. CHS going 1-9 ,2-8 wouldn't surprise me at all..an 0-10 season next year isn't out of the question. Parks being out will guarantee they lose, other than him ,they really have no playmakers except for Marcus and he is out now to. There QB is good but not much of anyone to throw to now or next season.
