Eventhough McMinn Central is 34-1, they haven't played a schedule to prepare them for the teams they will face in the state tournament. If (I think its a HUGE IF) they beat Alcoa, they will get waxed by Liberty (assuming they win the first round). I know that talk is cheap, and some of you are going to disagree with my predictions. Only time will tell............but remember what I said!

Know Nothing: I disagree with your statement about "winning close games is the sign of a well-coached team." Players making plays is more of a factor than coaching.......FREETHROWS, TURNOVERS, ETC. Don't get me wrong, coaching plays a part in close games, but it is not the #1 reason a team wins or loses close games.

"How he made it that long at Bradley in the first place?"...........what do you mean......he was only there for 1 season???????? Did you think he was going to quit in the middle of the season?

BlueNWhiteH8Tribe, With your earlier bashing of Polk County (in general) I think it's funny that our Benton friends have pointed out to you that Polk County High School has more State Championships than McMinn Central. I think your the one that looks stupid now!

Did Bucknell beat Kansas previously this season? I don't think so! What about Vermont over Syracuse? I don't think so! It's not the same because Cleveland did beat Bradley once this year and almost beat them at there place. Yeah, anybody can beat anybody on a given night (Bucknell over Kansas or Vermont over Syracuse), but to say Bradley was better than Cleveland is stupid considering the facts! And another thing, I have forgot more basketball than you will ever know. I watched you play in high school (you were awful). Did you get all of your basketball knowledge (since you seem to know it all) from the wonderful basketball program at Ooltewah?

Reaped the benefits.....Cleveland had already beat Bradley once! Cleveland is not scared of Bradley like alot of other teams in the Chattanooga area. Cleveland still had to beat Red Bank (who beat Bradley by 20 points), beat Cumberland in the Region Final (on their home court), and beat a really good Oakland team in the substate. So Cleveland didn't reap any benefits....they just took care of business! Do you need some tissue to wipe your tears? I love hearing you Bradley fans cry. You guys say Cleveland fans cry and make excuses....what are you doing?

We will see about that! Just because your mighty Bears were at home this post season......don't start bashing Cleveland. Cleveland want be very big next year, but you better not count them out. By the way, what happened to Bradley this post season? All you Bradley fans always talk about the Bears being at the top of there game during the post season....what happened?????? Was it coaching or selfish play or both? volntn- you had the Bears going all the way to the State Semi-Finals? A little off-there wouldn't you say?

Why would you hear your own Bradley people complain about the home cookin they get .... what are they going to say... boy, we sure do get some home cookin? It's also the reason why Bradley has trouble getting local teams out of their district to play them....ask Robert High (Brainerd).

Have you ever heard of coaches scouting and talking with other coaches that have played Science Hill? Do you honestly think that a sub-state opponent will not scout the toppers? Use a little common sense or just stay quiet.

I know for a fact Coach High at Brainerd will never play Bradley again in the regular season, as long as they have Athens officials. The home cooking they get from the Athens Association is embarrassing. Yeah, Bradley has been good the last few years, but if they want to be able to schedule Chattanooga teams....they need to switch officials. We all know thats not going to happen because Bradley want have there "good old boys" calling all there home games. If you want local teams to play you.....get rid of your homer officials. I wouldn't play them home and home either.

The seniors Ooltewah lost from last year team were not very good (other than Moton). So just because they lost 7 seniors means nothing! Courtney White is and was the best player on the team. With brown, foster, and Porter returning they should have been a pretty good team. You seem to always be on Cleveland when you couldn't tell me the last time Ooltewah has beaten Cleveland. When you say Cleveland is over-rated I think your jealous because Ooltewah hasn't beaten them in years. Yes, Ooltewah is over-rated! They just lost to Walker Valley!

Yes, they lost eight players off last years team....BUT return 2 of their top 5 in Yarrish Hammonds and Wes Suiter (who are 2 of the best in the district and area), not to mention transfer Wes Adams (McMinn Central) who would start for any other team in the district and 6'9 Dodd (Chattanooga Central) who would also start for any other team in the district. Let's not even mention Oglesvy (by the way who transfered last year and would have started for most teams last year as a freshemen) who is probably the best guard/scorer in this area. How can you say they are inexperienced? Any of Bradley's starters this year would start for any other team in this area. To mention Juan at McMinn is crazy.....he never had one player around him in 4 years that was better than average....Bradley shouldn't have lost to them. Would you agree with any of this tnwareagle? By the way, the rumors say that this coach your so eager to defend is not going to retire you son's jersey... is this true????????????

I agree with him being a descent coach, but to say he is the best in the state is crazy. And I totally agree that you will not find better all around people than you will find on the Bradley basketball teams over the years......that's one of the main reasons they have won so much. When you get well rounded kids that have talent that equals winning with or without Kent Smith.
