Any updates on tonight's games, boys and girls??? Wanted to make the trip but decided to not bother. CPA and Houston Co. have the late game, but for sure by now the first girls and boys (McEwen/FRA) games are over. Any scores would be greatly appreciated.

Most the people on here are aware of the speed and quickness of NCS's Cam Biggs. Well, Cam was taking off down the court on inbounds and catching the bomb and getting 1 man fast break lay ups all game. With about 15 seconds left they did it and the guy blatantly grabbed and held Cam's jersey because obviously, he just can't keep up. Nobody argued the call; even the player knew he held him. If that was the worst call you've ever seen, you must not watch basketball. Good for Ezell, maybe next year they'll actually beat NCS.

#30 hasn't showed me anything the past 2 times i've seen Goodpasture, so I didn't expect him to. He's not much of a basketballstar. Goodpasture is not being overlooked, especially after watching them yesterday. I've always thought with their size and with #21 they have a good chance at going to or winning state. Despite Daniel's attitude and Dever's talking himself up on coacht, Goodpasture has a good team. If they (Daniel especially) play smart, there's no telling what could happen. Of course, they have a tough region tourney to finish first.

You lead a sad existence buddy. I think when you look at all the facts and get the real idea here, it comes down to NCS sending Ezell into baseball season 2 years in a row. Sure, we may lose Wednesday or after that and we may not win another game in any sport for the rest of NCS's future, but NCS did send Ezell home 2 years in a row. On a side note, I would like to add that NCS beat Ezell last night, ending their boys' basketball season for the 2nd straight year in the region tournament. I would also like to throw out there that despite what comments RealGoEagles may make, NCS topped Ezell last night, March 1st, 2004, to move on in region play and send Ezell, well, home. Get the point Real??

I would sure like to see CPA win, and i think they will. If CPA and NCS do meet up, It's going to be a good'n. NCS finally got goin hitting some 3's tonight in a 19-4 run fueled by Chris Walker's 3's from the bench. If they can play a consistent game that way, they'll be hard to beat. If not, who knows how things will pan out.

Ezell is a new team, but unfortunately, suffered tonight the same fate as last year's team. No upsets tonight on the boys side. I wonder if Houston will pull it off against a very talented CPA team...

ANYWAYS..... NCS wins tonight and good luck to McEwen tomorrow night. Represent 10A well Bubba and friends. We're pullin' for ya (even though you all boo'ed us tonight).

You can check the scoreboard for the finals, but GP won by 9 and NCS by 5. Davidson was up 22-19 at half, slowing down the game a LOT and getting off good shots, but in the 2nd half #21 from GP hit some shots along with Ryan Daniel scoring (although he did airball 3 FT's in a row) and DA couldn't pull it out. NCS started slow but used a 19-4 run to take a 44-27 lead. They just coasted the rest of the game, allowing Ezell to come back and cut to 3 towards the end, but hit enough FT's to win. Not exactly a great game, but NCS is ready for whoever on Wednesday.

I would've predicted the same as everyone else did on this thread, but judging by the scoreboard, man, was everybody wrong...

Man you got some issues buddy. It won't make much sense when GP goes down here soon, and everyone is asking "but didn't that guy say they beat NCS by 20 in a scrimmage???" It means nothing kid. Get over it.

NCS is 23-8 with a district championship from shooting. Don't tell me they can't do it 3 games in a row.

This is how all the talk started last year, with many people seeing NCS losing and/or a 9A sweep. Just interesting reading material to compare to this year's upcoming region tourney. Again, 7 pages of healthy posting people. Enjoy.

Actually it was by about 17 in a SCRIMMAGE in which NCS didn't make a thing and Goodpasture wasn't missing. Key word- scrimmage. That was about 5 months ago pal so even though you signed on and showed your support for Goodpasture, you wasted my time that it took to click on this thread, read your post, and reply to it. Goodpasture won't win the region. CPA or NCS will. Write it down.

Not to bring up the past or anything, but last year there were a few upsets.... 10A #4 East Robertson over 9A #1 FRA by about 20 10A #3 Davidson Academy over a good 9a #2 Goodpasture 10A #2 NCS over favorite (although lower seeded) 9a #3 Ezell 10A #1 McEwen over DCA The latter 2 may not be considered upsets as much, but by the way people talked about them, it was. I'm about to bring back last year's thread about NCS and Ezell just so people know what happened last time NCS was doubted.
