I ignored your incoherent ramblings for a couple of days as my own peace offering and you came back at us with the “drinking champagne or forgot their password” bull crap. And the last thing I’m worried about is testing your patience backwoods keyboard champ. If you were the bad boy you claim, you wouldn’t have to tout yourself as such. Unlike you with your constant diarrhea of the mouth, there’s nothing to say. 8 good teams in the draw and some others, like Summertown, who may be better than a couple of those. Class A is really competitive and any of the 8 can win it if they get hot. Loretto won’t overlook anyone and neither will Greenfield. Loretto needs our bigs to keep playing like they have the last few weeks and we need to play good transition defense. Good luck to everyone in the tournament.

Soft boys?? You ladies are comical. I doubt highly you could show me anything. And I’ve watched Huntington play multiple sports over the years. Hunter Ensley is a great baseball player and I enjoy watching him play the game and i hope he has a great career. I’ve never had a problem with Huntington at all until I heard what was being said the other night. And it was that group that I have the problem with. But keep running that mouth. You’re not real smart are you? Who threw the “city” under the bus? You get security involved and the kid denies everything what does that help? Do you cause trouble for a kid down the road because they get caught up and act a fool? If their parents get involved and they haven’t been raised any better to be saying that crap, do you think their parents will be receptive to their kid being sent out? And a coach doesn’t have to act a fool to for her players to know she has their backs. If one of our players had caused a major issue and cost us down the line, that’s not being a good teammate or “protecting your teammates.” Do you know who the assistant was who got the technical? Do you know anything about either of our coaches other than they beat y’all the other night and have a top 5 team? You’re really proving a point by acting so manically about this. How you think a coach should overreact. How a teammate should have stepped up and started some trouble. May need to read back and see how bad you sound. And I’m plenty intelligent. Maybe we can meet up and have a spelling contest. You’ve already proved yourself to be an over reactionary fool from your responses alone. I think the tourney will be a good one. Depends on who gets hot and has players step up besides their “marquee” girls. There’s more than a couple of teams that could win it.

How would you handle it if you were an adult and they were teenagers? And it happened. More than a few people heard it. I wouldn’t have said it otherwise. I have no reason to lie. Ask some of the punks that were up there. There were words exchanged and would’ve ended badly if not for people showing more restraint than you seem to have. And since you don’t seem intelligent enough to read what was said earlier, we were up double digits for most of the game and our assistant coach got called for a technical foul for protesting what was happening. Why would we send someone out there to be an “enforcer”? Only a scrub would do that. Like I said, we’re up big over a team that wasn’t coming back, why cause a possible suspension that night hurt the team later? Do you understand now? We’re one of the top teams in the state and can play with anyone. Why put that in jeopardy to lower ourselves to that level? We played the game, won the game (by double digits by the way) and looked like the better people for handling all the things that happened and not reacting. Listen, there’s no love loss between us and Summertown. We compete for everything and it gets pretentious at times since we see each other so much but it never gets that bad. And I had multiple fans of theirs who were commenting on everything that went on. Again, it’s over. Maybe we’ll see the Fillies again. But if they try that box and one stuff and they get in foul trouble again, the result will be the same or worse.

It’s called class. Something we’ve learned that Huntington knows little about over the last week. Last Saturday at the boys game, the Huntington boys yapped at officials, threw elbows the entire game and motioned to and talked crap to the crowd. One kid in particular. Well, they did until they loaded up that 26 point butt whipping and packed their stuff up for the offseason. During the girls game the other night, Huntington fans said stuff to our players AND our coach that should’ve gotten then ejected. Even worse, they singled out a member of Loretto’s boys team who had some really bad health issue earlier this season and the last couple of years. When you go so far as to make fun of a kid by acting as though you are having seizures in the crowd and making fun of a kid who has had multiple brain related surgeries, you deserve to not only be ejected but to be throat punched repeatedly. You can say what you want but we heard it. The kids mom did too. And now you essentially get on here threatening someone? You need to step back before all the things that did actually happen on and off the court come out. They did try to rip the mask off of Karly on more than one occasion but she’s a competitor and I’m sure it didn’t bother her like it did everyone else from Loretto and everywhere else that saw it happen. Maybe you’re the homer in this since I talked to people from multiple schools who agree with the Loretto viewpoint. But this is like politics. You saw it your way and we saw and heard something else so we can quit discussing it. Maybe we’ll play you guys again but it’s for now it’s over. Good luck the rest of the way.

Karly flops more than Lebron? So she plays like one of the best players in this era? Not a Lebron fan at all but that’s hilarious. Every team tries to rough her up to try and get in her head. She knows that and knows how to handle it. Huntington did it last night and that’s part of the game. But the officials caused the issue last night. They were terribly inconsistent. They called it tight in the first quarter then everything short of murder was ok after. Huntington ran a box and one and held Karly from the opening tip. They pushed her, grabbed her. Heck, they tore the face mask off of her in three different occasions. They could’ve gotten called for 20 more fouls than they did. It wasn’t just the physicality that they missed though. The officials were terrible all around.

Huntington had gotten away with multiple fouls that haven’t been called and have gotten away with traveling at least 6 times. Officials had been so inconsistent.

Looks like a Huntington-Loretto final coming. Loretto leads Mackenzie 42-20 at the half.

It’s going to be a great tourney. Good teams at the top. All are capable of winning it. Loretto is hot but we need our bigs to play well. They played really well against Summertown the other night. If they do, they’ll be hard to beat but there’s about 4 or 5 teams that can win it. It may be the most competitive classification in the tourney.

Say like in the fourth quarter of the state semifinals last year when Karly outscored Chloe 11-8, had 2 defensive boards (one when Chloe missed a layup) and blocked a shot? The same state tourney that she was MVP of and had 26 in the championship game? Yeah, just has to prove she can do it during crunch time. Chloe Moore is good but quit being such a homer. My guess is you know very little about the games Karly “takes over”, how she gets her teammates involved and how she can play four spots instead of just running the point.

Her name is Karly you pretentious dolt. And there’s a reason other people say that about West Tennessee officials. It’s all over this board. I think you guys shot 15 more free throws than us. Chloe Moore gets away with more crap on both ends that any player I’ve ever seen. Her “eurostep” in the lane was a four step travel the majority of the game and she creates 75% of the calls she gets by contacting the stationary defender and getting the call. She grabs every time an player with the ball gets a step on her and it got called maybe twice tonight. And she’ll never be the player she could be because she can’t go right. Teams will figure that out the more they see it. The last drive she made with Greenfield up 2, she traveled, ran into a defender who was straight up and got the and one. You guys miss some shots and so did we. Thought the fact that y’all got to play so physically wore us out but we’ll see you again and we’ll beat you if the officiating is even. Just like last year in Murphy. Good luck until then.

Loretto was sloppy and turned the ball over way too much. But everyone always says that West Tennessee refs take care of their own. They’ll play again on a neutral court and we’ll see what happens. Two of the top teams in the state but we knew that going in.

Loretto beats East Hickman 54-24. Played every player on the bench and all but 2 scored. Nice effort by the Lady Mustangs.
