We have one senior so it’s gonna be fun the next few years. Summertown and Loretto girls is always a fun game to watch.

I’ve seen Summertown play many games and they don’t foul that much. And seriously, free throws are part of the game? No kidding. But in the two games you’ve played, GC has shot 39 more free throws than their opponents. That’s unreal. And since I’m no fool, it’s you’re. Good luck tomorrow.

Loretto was 4-1 against Summertown this year.

They made 20 more free throws my friend. There’s your 18 point win. And they did turn the ball over but there’s no denying that officiating controlled that entire matchup.

You can say that Karly had better stats today but unless I’m mistaken, she had better season stats too. 2 more points, 3 more rebounds, 1 more steal and 3 more blocks today. But...

Summertown is good. Not going to win many games when you get out shot from the line by 20 (looking at you TSSAA). With the youth that both Summertown and Loretto have, it’s gonna be fun to watch the next few years.

Karly is listed at and is every bit of 5’10”. She’s a wonderful young lady who works her butt off.

Still didn’t answer the question. What “average” team played them close? You know nothing about the teams they played from Alabama and can’t point to an average team that played them close. We play who we had to in the region. And if I remember correctly, Gibson Co beat Huntington by 5 during the year Greenfield or Clarkrange are the favorites but to get on here and yap about things you know nothing about like your comment, is hilarious and insulting to the ladies at Loretto. Like someone said earlier, they beat last year’s runner up 4 out of 5 times they played this year. And with a roster that has one senior, Loretto will be a fixture in this thing for the next few years.

He can’t. Other than Summertown, Loretto’s closest district game was a 26 point win. And the teams that played them halfway close in Alabama all made it to their sectional finals at least so I wouldn’t consider them “average.”

What average teams played them close? Summertown beat them in a Christmas tourney but Loretto won the other 4 times they played and Summertown is the only team who played them close. And Loretto beat Rogers,AL by 11 and they just won the 4A state championship in Alabama on Friday.

I was at the state championship scrub. You assume to know a lot about everything but every time you open your mouth you prove you don’t. I’ve seen Greenfield play and if you think they have two players better than Karly, you’re biased or delusional. Greenfield may be the better team and I don’t care if Weathers is a freshman, she’s as good a single A player as there is in the state. To say you have a couple better than her because she’s a freshman is disrespectful of the kid.

Loretto can play both ways too. Had 14 games where they scored at least 65 and won some low scoring games too. Good depth. Good mix of young and older players. Should be a good game. Loretto is thrilled to be there and will be ready to go. They've won 11 of their last 12.

Heard a few hours ago that our favorite official got suspended over his actions in this game. Too little, too late for the Lady Mustangs. He should never be allowed to call another game. Good riddance F.

Exactly. Loretto got fouled on 3 of the 4 shots. And the official called a foul so it's pretty obvious there was a foul committed.It's just that Mt P's finest over ruled the call.

Dude? What game did you watch? You got a FG on your first possession after we fumbled on our first play (your offense lost 5 yards on their 3 plays by the way). You got a TD after we fumbled again on our 20. This was right before our "lucky" TD.This game was never in doubt and there was never a time after our 2nd possession that I thought we might be in trouble. Loretto had 46 carries for 400 yards. CHS had 90 yards of total offense.

Very tight game till the devine help? You realize that Loretto outgained CHS 197-13 in the first quarter? It was a strange play but that game was never in doubt. Loretto has to quit dropping the ball on the ground and clean up their special teams badly. Incredible to me how bad kickoff and punt coverage is. Covering kicks is about finding the ball and making the tackle instead of looking to hit somebody hard when you get downfield. Never stay in our lanes and are undisciplined. Always enjoyed the games with the Wood and hope they get thru these tough times.

12-a is historically tough. Wayne Co., Summertown, Collinwood and Loretto have all been fixtures in recent state tourneys. Loretto has been 3 of the last 4 years so show some respect. Run up to Community and ask them if Loretto deserves to be there. Ask Dresden if they deserve to be there. Ask Jackson Co.
