Has anyone actually seen Blake McDade or Kyler Burke from Ooltewah play?

Didn't Tanner Moore @ McCallie play some second last year as a freshman. If he did, then he's the best hitting second baseman in the area.

How did Red Bank do against Central?

Yeah, i know this site is set up for it, but most of the time a teams full schedule will no be put into the system. And if the game is not in the system, the score won't be.

Someone that actually knows, tell me what Red Bank's record is! Tell me also how they've done against district opponents! And is there any website that keeps up to date on them? Thanks...I need the info for a website.

correction to my last post..Ryan Jones sometimes bats in the 2 spot behind Keven Flanagan.

Ryan Jones from Ooltewah makes a good case for himself. He's a sophomore and starts in Center. Keep an eye on him.

I think Ooltewah may have an off year this year and not make it to the playoffs. It's going to be tough without the stellar play of Grant Freeman who graduated last year. One can only hope he brings the same fire to the team coaching this year as he did as a player last year. Any other thoughts?

I'm not saying he's the best kid to ever wlak through Chattanooga at all. He's got a long ways to go to be a great pitcher, BUT he is definately a good pitcher with tons of potential. And it just pisses me off to hear kids on here who are so ignorant about baseball. I just don't like them bad mouthing anyone, especially a good baseball player!

You must be a player...actually, you sound like either a JV player or a varsity player who never gets to play. Let me correct myself, Adam hasn't played in a high school game in a year and a half. And I would be 1 million dollars that if you stood up in the batters box after making these comments and faced Adam, he'd set you down something like this: 1,2,3...1,2,3...1,2,3...1,2,3...1,2,3... Grow up and work on your hitting. I tihnk Ballintrain said enough. Ya'll had 8 hits. And half of them came towards the end of the game. As said before, Win and then you can talk. So Soddy ripped him? What was the score? Maybe I had the score backwards. As I was saying, it is week 1. Adam has not pitched in a game in a year and a half. Give him some time. He's got a very good curve ball and he can work on his change-up. At the end of the year - after 10 starts - I sure would like you to tell me he's overrated. At the high school level, you have to look at what a kid could bring to the table...not necessarily what he's doing. Not to say he can go out there and not perform, but look at his height and his velocity. Get him in a god JUCO school, add some weight, work on mechanics and pitches, and you've got a darn good pitcher in the works. Beat him and then you can downplay him..ok?
