  1. Here is a link to the 18u Chattanooga Cyclones : http://eteamz.com/supercyclones/
  2. Ryan Headden, Boyd Buc, to Chattanooga State.
  3. Hurry someone call 911 Grad has lost his mind. You can not be serious about Moore being a beter PITCHER than Carver. Any baseball fan that has every seen them pitch a few times can and will tell you that Blake is better thatn Ryan. Ill tell you why. On a good day they both dominate give up a few hits and have double digit K's, but the true difference is on their off days. Carver gives you 5+ innings a few walks and 2 or 3 runs. He still gives your team a chance to win. Now on the other hand Moore, on a bad day, walks 6 hits 2 and gives up 5 or six in one inning and now your bullpen has to pitch the next six innings. You tell me who you would rather have pitching if your coaching a team.
  4. Brandon Langston (signed Kennesaw State) Played CF most of the summer. Steven Hawk and Andrew Shaver, Lee Univ, were the other 2 that played CF. RJ is a kid with a cannon for an arm an is a Div I caliber RF. He also played some 1B to rest his arm. As a 16yr old he led the Cyclones in hitting. This summer he will continue to play RF and will have his choice of where to play at the next level. The Brandon Farrow did play for Everetts Cyclones for a brief time b/f he was shut down with a sore arm. Rumor has it that he is throwing the ball extremly well with both good velocity and good control. We will see this weekend at Centrals scrimmages.
  5. Hey cooter How well did Burke play against WV. Also how wel did Turner from WV play. I heard Higdon threw the ball well also.
  6. You can't leave Myles Ervin off this list he is one of the fastest kids in Chattanooga and can play several positions.
  7. Hey Grad what grade is your brother in?
  8. Who is scrimmaging this weekend in the Chatt area. Teams, places and times would be appreciated.
  9. Ryan Wilkes hit as high as 94mph this past summer. While 94 is the hardest in Chattanooga it is not close to 98 so try to stict to the facts here. Wilkes is able to go to Kentucky next year his gpa is ok and he scored high enough on his act. Hey Guess Who are you ging to start the first game this year or what?
  10. Who pitched for Baylor and who had the big hits as well?
  11. Ryan did have 16 k's vs Ooltewah and he alos had 14 vs Soddy Daisy last night. In the first 2 innings against Ooltewah he was clocked as high as 91 and averaged 88.
  12. I saw him pitch against ER in the mid 80s but a college coach did have him at 91 during a 2 inning stint last friday. I think Ooltewah will win this game because Central doesnt have antyhing besides Wilkes and Andrew Shaver who has been on fire since the Wildcat Classic.
  13. If you get a chance to watch this game you should see two pretty good pitchers match up. Trent has been clocked as high as 93 and rumor has it a college scout had Wilkes touching 91 on Friday night. It might not sound like much but that doesnt happen very often in Chattanooga. Any thoughts on who will win this game?
  14. There are at least 7 SEC schools that are interested at the moment and hes not pitched at all this year. Any word on how his rehab is going? I hear he will start pitching in games very soon.
  15. Blake Carver from Cleveland HS is on of the best Jr. pitchers in the entire state. He has excellent command and can pitch on both sides of the plate with three pitches. He also has a very good pickoff move that allows him to keep kids at first if they in fact reach first. His fastball is about 84-87 and hes still only 16. Go and see him later this year and you too will agree.
