I just know that Meigs County has a proud program and community. They will bounce back. I know Coach eller is a good man and a good coach. I hate to see davis leaving. he teaches old-school football. I would like to see Coach Roger Webb back at Meigs. He devloped a solid baseball program and an unbelievable offense while he was there. I think he went to York where they go !3-1 in his 2nd year there.

I heard this is very true.. I heard coach wright, coach stucker, and longtime defensive coach (Vic Wheaton) are all leaving at the end of this season. They have picked a good time to get out. They lose a lot of talent, and the region will be redone. Scheduling games will be harder after three great years. I hear that young PHIL BRANNON is being groomed to be the next head coach. He came from Stone Memorial this year, and is the superintendent's son. The reason Wright is upset is because the cheerleading coach and the bowling coach both make much more money than he does coaching 2 sports. I also hear that there is weak leadership at the school and all the coaches and teachers are in an uproar. Personally I hope Wright stays and they pay him what he is worth. Go Dragons! I have lost one of my best friends. My prayers go out to Joyce, Corey, Greg, Bonnie, And Whitey(Pick's Dog that he loved dearly). I was so proud of the show of love and respect shown at the funeral home the past 2 days. I know he was smiling down when he saw all of the people he had touched. Chris had a heart of gold, was a great coach, and an even better man. I will miss him dearly. It was a long, sad ride back home last night after the funeral. The Lord must have needed a great coach for one of the baseball or footbaall teams he surely has in Heaven. At least he had the oppurtunity to touch so many lives, and now he gets to be with little Hannah who he missed dearly. Chris was in church just this past Sunday. I was glad to hear that!

Don't think so. Cumberland does play a tough schedule, but saying york would be 0-6 against 5A competition is not so smart. We will see Friday night. York by 50! The Jets will crash and burn as would many 5a opponents.

Westmoreland is always tough, especially at Westmoreland. York will not overlook them. They beat York twice last year, and ended their season in a great 2nd round plyoff game in 2 overtimes. York will remember the way teir fans acted after the game that night. The Eagles have York's respect and full attention. York will hit them in the mouth early and often! THE LAST TIME YORK WENT 10-0 WAS IN 1980. THEY HAD A HECK OF A TEAM. THEY WERE A WILD AND CRAZY BUNCH. THEY WOULD ALSO HIT YOU IN THE MOUTH!

York has a very good football team. The boys work hard, play hard, and will hit you in the mouth. Their backs run extremely hard and their Q.B. can run as well as throw. Believe me, They are for REAL. Their new fire breathing DRAGON is awesome! Go York, Beat HOGEYE!

York is ready and hungry. The additions of former Dragon players Roger Webb and Hubert Lester to the coaching staff have brought a new level of enthusiasm to Jamestown. Webb was offensive cordinator at Meigs County when they were averaging 40+ points a game in the 90's. Now, look at York's offense. Go Dragons! ELBOWS and _ _ _ holes!

AS LONG AS DAVID RAY IS THE COACH, THEY WILL BE COMPETITIVE. I look for them to have a good year. I hope he has gotten jason howard to help out. jason is a true WINNER.

As long as Jeff Quirk is principal, Culleoka will be terrible. He interferes with his coaches, and is lucky to have coah slatten leading the boys. Coach slatten will leave as soon as this run of TALLENT gets out. Thank god for ken Harris, He is the glue that holds the Warriors together. They should have kept Coach crabtree and dtched their ###### principle!
