Who's going to win?

Can I just as who Flip is? Are you talking about Mike Pearson?

Josh Bugh is not leaving and he is not going to Sevier County, he is going to countinue to kick you guys around the field at Pigeon Forge. The rest of his team may not help but with a new head coach I think PF will be much improved this year.

Whoever said that Pigeon Forge starting a high school doesnt hurt Sevier Co. getting talent is dead wrong. Think about it... when did Sevier County start having to "rebuild" as you say? It's after Pigeon Forge opened. Sevier County has always recieved a lot of good athletes from Pigeon Forge such as Jake Huskey, Dustin Huffaker, Ryan Watson, and others who were there when they won state. I believe Pigeon Forge opening a new high school has hurt Sevier Co. tremendously.

What position are they looking for?

They are playing a team that starts three 8th graders....2 freshman....a sophmore....a junior.....and two seniors. I thought prugh could throw mid 70s or is that just a rumor going around.

Props to Maryville pitcher who pitched a perfect game tonight against a much improved Pigeon Forge team.

District 2AA is very young. You've got West Greene who pulled out a bunch of upsets in tourney action returning alot of players. South Greene, Pigeon Forge, and Chuckey also return key players. Who will be strong in district play next year? What are your predictions?

Yea I saw Jackson County play last year in the state finals. They ARE good. Very talented. But, they are beatable. Very beatable. The thing that is going to hurt you guys up there is the huge head you've got. Don't get me wrong. Seymour may not and probably will not will the state title. But don't rule it out. You need to concentrate on the next game which you will play a very talented team.

Nicely said woodeewho. It just matters who has the most heart. I've seen Seymour shut down some key players in match ups this season who could have just taken the game over and if they can shut down Beechboard (Which is a good possibility) I'm going for the upset. Seymour has alot of heart.

Why are they going to pitch their best pitcher against Pigeon Forge? A team that could obviously be beat otherwise.

Have you seen Seymour play? They are a very good fundamentaly sound baskteball team. Unless Livingston has got someone to shut down Brooke on the inside and Wolfe on the perimeter it will be a good game. I wouldnt be suprised if Seymour pulled the upset.

Frazier doesn't have the grades.

Excuse me if I'm wrong....but didnt PF play Sevier County in team camp? How many did they lose by? 15? Every single girl on PF's team played quality minutes (7 freshman at the time). It took Coach Huskeys freshman and sophmores days to pick the splinters. PF has been around for 3 years in Varsity ball. With one senior on the team and 3 sophmore starters I think PF deserves credit where it is obvious credit is due. You wait...in a few years..you wont want them on your schedule.

Derrick Norris of PF is a good dunker...really hasnt gotten his chance many times yet though to show it. Last night at Morristown East, a guy tried to oop it to Derrick from beyond the arc.....it went in....it was pretty funny. They got 3 though.

Cannon of Pigeon Forge is a nice player. Very athletic. Pitcher and shortstop. Played up his 8th grade year. Some would say he's the best player on team as a freshman.

Who all has been upset?

I agree with ya on that one. Coach Wright at Gp is a very good coach. He gets the most out of his guys and works them hard. He knows his basketball. Coach Moore at Seymour is a very good coach also. He's coaching the boys AND girls and his girls are in the run for a state title. How many coaches can do that?
