Soddy Daisy probably has the finest tradition in the state, men. I, I mean they won a state championship a couple years before I did - in 1948 I believe. I won state in 1955 so I guess it would be seven years before then, men. The only problem with Soddy Daisy basketball is they just need to get low and play good defense men!!!!!! I'd say I might have a good three years left to help them out before I turn 95. I might think about retiring then but I dont know - I'm an ageless wonder so I could still eb coaching, men -you never know

And you know why they don't, men......It's because they just get outhussled, men. That's all.....just get out hustled and don't get low on defense. I mean sometimes you just dont have your shot men, but you can always play good defense. Golly bum!! Bradley knows how to play defense, men! Why can't we??? I, I mean I just don't understand it, men. I mean what could be better? Baysketball on a Friday night? It don't get much better than that, men. I mean if you dont want to be out there then just go home. Just, just got home,men.

I dont think that's what happened, men. I dont remember Ooltewah scoring more points than Soddy. I think Soddy scored more!!

I dont need all of you young guys that think you know what you're doing telling me how to win!! I'm a coach and I know how to play basketball, men. You gotta hustle and play good defense and box out. Some nights you're just not going to have your shot but you can always play good defense, men. I mean all you have to do is get low and watch the ball and your man!! You guys have a lot to learn, men. Golly I tell ya you got a lot to learn.
