Let'em talk guys....Frankly we should be flattered everyone's so envious. Lets just chuckle a little louder everytime Bryant sinks a three.

To win from now on we will have to bring our A game for 32 minutes for the remainder of our games. There are no more easy ones, certainly not this one in Summertown. If we play our game the whole game, the outcome should be the same as in Waynesboro this year.

fan02...I believe we have a troublemaker on our hands here...I too have looked at coach1's previous posts where he makes claims to have been a former defensive coordinator for Mt Pleasant. Wasn't Winston a former def coordinator there? If so...he does not live in Wayne Co and I don't even know why the bulk of his posts make claims of a scandal in WC when one doesn't exist and he has no dog in the 12A race anyway. He seems to like to stir up trouble and is a pretty pathetic excuse for a person. Coach1, you said in one of you ignorant previous posts that you saw me 2-3 times a week. If thats so then I invite you to come talk to me when you see me. Maybe we can straighten out all these allegations.

COach1 I bet I know who you are. If I am right. Have fun losing the rest of the season. Its no secret who I am on here and who I support. I put my name on here because I don't wear two faces with my opinion. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I may be wrong sometimes but at least I have a pair and don't hide behind a screen name. All of you, everyone on hear hinting at TSSAA investigations and Wayne County conspiracy's, I challenge you to end your opinions with your real name. You are the one hiding something, not the Bryant family. I, unlike the rest of you, have first hand knowledge of the situation and know for a fact that everything was done legally to a T. All you are doing is stirring up rumors and allegations out of jealousy. I know of countless players who have transferred from WC to Clifton, Clifton to WC, WC to C- Wood and vice versa. The simple fact is that if Justin wasn't any good, this wouldn't have ever been talked about. So let them bring their video tape or what ever evidence they may think they have. Hands down Charlie Mosley. Too bad his hustle and in your face D keeps him from getting many minutes in. If the refs are picky that night he stays in foul trouble. But if their letting them play, this kid is exciting to watch.

TyFry, I don't see how asking a legitimate question could be perceived as crying but then again I really couldn't care any less about your perception of things. I never said they weren't poll worthy because they are...I asked how they went up a spot after losing a game. So if you call that crying then boo hoo I guess.

We got beat for one reason: Stagnant offense. We had as awful of a night shooting as I have ever seen. PC's coach recognized the fact that he couldn't man up with us and did a good job of neutralizing our offense with the zone. Thats ok. Better now than tourney time. We did have some b.s. calls but that wouldn't have been a factor if we hadn't played so badly. We've got alot of time to work on our zone offense and it will be a different story come tournament time. Anyway...as far as the game between PC and Summertown...I agree with rachelgreen.....utilize James and keep him out of foul trouble and you can take this one. White should do something we didn't do enough of against them....PENETRATE.

Thanks for the reply nwhoopaholic. I'm sure its hard to research every region in TN. Wayne Co usually suffers from having no major press coverage. Hopefully they will continue to succeed and voters will take notice.

AP voters please shed some light. Why did Mt Pleasant gain a spot to #2 after losing yet another district game. They were #3 last week with only one loss to current #1 team in 12A Wayne Co., then they get beat by PC (5th in district at the time) and they gain a spot? Just to add to it, as far as I know, they have played all single A teams. Wayne County 14-6, has only one single A loss, the rest coming to double A teams. Is this considered in the voting?

That's right...I was thinking of Prater. Clifton will have to have a strong performance by Prater, and Bumpus needs to penetrate....a lot. PC seems to be on a roll. I hope Clifton can knock them off.

Last night J.D. Byrd on his 18th of his 24 points scored his 1000th career point. The Wildcats beat Zion handily putting up 97 points on the board. Congratulations J.D., you're still ugly.....but you can play ball.

Lewis Co. just had our number this year. We outscored them every quarter with the exception of our horendous zero point third quarter performance. I was surprised at the low scoring game between two relatively high scoring teams. Last year the last second shot went our way in Lewis Co.'s gym, I guess it was their turn. Wayne Co begins a string of district matchups tonight at home against Zion. Lets forget last nights heartbreaker and focus on the hunt for the district title.

I tell you I am glad to be playing Lewis Co. just to hear someone besides myself talking about the game. You can always count on Lewis Co for some good ol verbal sparring. I have watched Lewis Co. play 3 times this year and they are all around a pretty athletic team. 6'10" Sparkman doesn't hurt much either. If we can contain him I think we can outscore the rest. It's going to be a good game to watch for both sides.

Wayne Co 69 Summertown 61. WC got after it and really showed they wanted this win. Scoring was pretty spread out. Aside from missing a ton of freethrows, WC was clicking about the whole game. Summertown is a very athletic team. This was a big win for 1st place in the district. We travel to Lewis Co. Thursday night and return to play at home against Zion Friday night. Lets pay back Lewis Co. one time guys.

This game will be for 1st place in the district. WC has been able to play bad and still win the last couple, that will stop tomorrow night. We will have to bring our A game for 4 quarters to beat a team like S-town. If we can play to our potential, there is no reason we shouldn't take this one. It's gonna be a good game to watch.

Wayne County won by 29. I've never saw a team start forcing fouls with four minutes still left in the game. I guess there is a first time for everything. Made it a long game though. We shot terrible in the first half. Played better in the second, finally pulling out of reach midway in the third quarter. J.D. led all scorers with 22 I think. The rest of the scoring looked to be spread out pretty evenly. All in all we played ok but need to get off to a quicker start.

Even though WC is heavily favored to win this one, Clifton will be a threat unless we can jump ahead of them quickly in the first quarter. If we can shut them down in the first quarter and get ahead by 15 or so. I think WC will crush them. If we come out of the gate cold and let them hang around, it will be a game till the end. I've been looking forward to this game since Clifton's 5-0 start and automatic self nomination for a state tourney bid.

Wayne Co. beat West Memphis Christian by 25 or so st Freed Hardeman yesterday. Shot better than I've seen all season. Probably 10 or more tre's. Just guessing I would say Bryant and Byrd was our leading scorers with both around 20 maybe more. Tyler also was in double figures I believe. Don't have all the stats. Everyone played well in this game.
