  1. Do you honestly think that Giles will come out as flat as they did the other night against Harpeth? Don't you think the close game got their attention? If anything, Giles will come out as focused as they have been all year, and will look to shut down the Cubs early, and then jump into "CIRCUS MODE"! You aren't going to beat a team of this calibur on a prayer that you'll be able to hit some threes! Giles by 25,in a win that will shut the haters up,and finally make people realize that this team, and the hype that surrounds them,is for real! LEBRON WHO?
  2. What I'd like to know is, what exactly was the point of the Fairview players trying to take Tyler out every time he went up?? I can totally understand playing good, strong defense and not just giving him the dunk, but running full speed from the other end of the court in order to undercut him on his way down is purely classless. And if you're going to be dirty, at least don't make it obvious; like having Tyler's leg wrapped in your arms as you try to get up! There's no point in taking your anguish out on a player who has a brilliant career in front of him, while you'll be sitting at home watching him on Sportscenter next year! What really got me was the fact that Fairview's coach said nothing to his player's about this, and almost seemed to applaud the act! I've never known Fairview to act this way, but I guess we'll just have to wait til sub state in order to play a team with class, and just bare these hick teams that lack the ability to play on our level, you know above the rim. So throughout the rest of the district and region tournaments could we please look at the big picture and not just personal vendettas that you'd like to see carried out, because you aren't going to win!? Giles played extremely well, seeing as how they are prone to losing focus, and looking ahead, when playing these small teams. Shay, i'm sure, will get his shot back on track, and will surely make his presence felt in the big games that await. Tyler has simply exploded, like we knew he would, in the last part of the season. Cash has stuck with his consistent play, and his shooting and rebounding will prove to be invaluable in sub state and state. We are peaking at exactly the time that you want to, and that's all you can ask. All I can say is, all of these 10AA teams that have been talking so much smack, better be ready for a show on Tuesday! Does Montgomery Central have a landing strip in their gym? LEBRON WHO?
  3. Tyler Smith has to be the winner he had 9 dunks in one game
  4. seems like giles county came out and took care of business
  5. I think GC has a lot more going for them than just Tyler Smith. They are weak in the point guard area, but they have players that hustle their butts off and never get any credit. Cazh Givens is a heckuva defensive player and rebounder who plays hard 32 minutes every game and Shay Shannon plays a major role for GC. They should probably step up and do more. That would open up more opportunity for Smith to show his talents. They suffer a lot due to poor coaching.
  6. CHARLES WHO?CHARLES LITTLE AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON TYLER SMITH.I SEEN CHARLES DUNK IN CAMP IN KNOXVILLE AND IT WASN'T IMPRESSIVE AT ALL.NOW TYLER SMITH ON THE OTHER HAND IS AWSOME.NAME ME ONE PLAYER IN TN. THAT CAN GO BETWEEN HIS LEGS ON ANY GIVEN DAY WITHOUT A PROBLEM.OOPS I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT HIM THROWING A BALL OFF OUR GYM WALL 20FT IN THE AIR AND CATCHING IT WHEN IT CAME BACK DOWN AND DUNKING IT DURING A WARM-UP FOR OUR GAME AGAINST A LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY TEAM BUT THAT WAS NOTHING FOR HIM , SO EXPECT TO SEE A LOT MORE FROM HIM THIS YEAR SO MY ANSWER WITHOUT A DOUBT I S TYLER SMITH!!!!!! LEBRON WHO?
  7. ]We appreciate the love and don't care about the haters. Giles county is a strong team and we will have another Gold Ball !!!!!! P.S. much love to my boy TCROSS
  8. warehouse, How can ou possibly say Dansby is a harder worker than t smiff? Your heart was in the right place with this post, but you obviously haven't seen the hours of shooting that tyler does every day. You can bet that you'll see his jeep (sittin on spinners) parked at the gym long after everyone else has gone home. People just don't understand that he didn't become one of the top 5 players in the nation over night. He's dedicated his life to becoming the best baller in the nation, and it seems like he gets better every time I see him. As for the murray state phenom, joecowboy, you are a compplete idiot. Are you saying that every recruiter, every reporter, everyone in the state of Tennessee (besides u) is wrong and that we've simply overlooked Dansby? Be for real. I guess you'll just have to accept the fact that Tyler will embarrass every player in your area, evey night. LEBRON WHO?
  9. Giles county has as much talent as last year but all you here about is Tyler Smith the number 1 junior in the state (hands down) and shay shannon the assassin from behind the arc. IF REPEATING THE ONLY THING THEN I BET YOU THEY WILL JUST TO PROVE YOU HATERS WRONG
  10. drew-o I'm with you I think Kash Givens for Giles County is the most underrated players in state. He averages like 12or13 rebounds a game at only 6'1 he can score when he wants to handle the ball plays tenasious defense and doesnt get any credit. I know T-smitty is the focal point when teams play giles county and they know shay shannon can shoot lights out but if you'll havent noticed kash has led the team in rebounds offensive and defensive and guarantee you he will do it again this year when the bobcats win another STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
  11. here yall go again talking about lazy defense and poor attitudes but only if yall knew what yall were talking about then yall could comment . it was a scrimmage and the real season doesn't start until next tuesday when the mighty bobcats go to put a stone cold steve austin whoop !!! on lawrenceburg. I've talked to a couple of the GC players and the laziness on defense comes from the refs not letting the player if they want them to get ready for the collegiate level the shouldn't call every little call they could get into the groove of the game without the whistle being blowed there were like a numerous of fouls that wouldn't be fouls at the next level and I've played at that level so i've been told if you come on here to say anything about the bobcats that you dont like go talk to the bobcats after they make yall eat the same words that yall had to eat last year by the way I've been told to holla back at the bobcats when they get that gold ball in M-town
