They do have Porter, which I personally think is better than Bell, but they don't use him. All the fullback has is size and will not be a factor in the game. Having seen Bell play in a couple of games all he does is dance around in the backfield, if he does that against CC he will be going to the hospital like Riverside's QB

All CC has to do is stop Bell. Bell is not a power runner and when he is hit hard by that CC defense I think that he will give up

I really don't think that any of this stuff really matters. All that matters is that CC needs a win Friday night. A win by CC is very possible if the offense and defense both play up to their potential.

The only reason Portlands player got merely tapped on the chin was because he tried to drop kick the 2nd baseman when he was obviously going to be out. You dont just let a guy get away with puttin 3 spikes in your leg. Its all part of the game. Chester Co. tried to just let it go but Portland kept flipping people off. In the next inning Portland got a hit and tried to make a double out of it just so he could try and take the second baseman out. He got thrown out and was tagged in the head. He tried to act big and bad and say "I can rumble with you all day 24." They continued to show bad sportsmanship even when shaking hands after the game. I guess thats why the better team came out on top in the end.

Who won the South Side Bolivar District game Monday night?

Well it looks like westview wont meet gibson in the final considering they got beat tonite by chester co. Chester dominated the game except the first few minutes of the third quarter which could have cost them. It was a great game. Jackson Co. better watch it cuz Chester is gonna stop the streak Friday. Then maybe if Westview can survive Livingston or Seymour we will have a west showdown with Ms. Basketball Finalist Kendall Cavin and Rebecca Rowsey who "should have been" Ms. Basketball.

Chester Co. beat Adamsville 11-0 tonite in Henderson to kick off their season. Tyler Newman pitched a shutout and nearly a no hitter. A few early walks put runners in scoring position but he battled back with strikeout after strikeout. However Adamsvilles pitching did not do so hot, walking batter after batter and changing pitchers at least 4 times. Chester Co. managed only a few hits but those hits were during clutch times. Good start to what should be a great season.
