They play Monday, at 4:00 (3:00 Central). Should be a great game. If LA makes a better showing of themselves than they did Saturday, they will win. If not, who knows...But I'm going with LA by 8

LA - 74, OS - 61 Beechboard had 26 and Thompson had 20...That's all the stats I know right now. LA by far played the best game they have played all season. EVERYONE was clicking tonight. GREAT JOB!!!

Beech - 25, Thurman - 15. If all players play as well as they have been playing, Livingston will win, no questions asked. However, if we get a 5 point lead and Coach Smith yanks out 4 starters that may be a whole different story.

I went to the TSSAA web site and couldn't find anyone from District 7 that was in the championship in '92 and '95...Who was in it those two years? I'm not saying you're wrong, just wondering.

I agree, if Thompson continues to play like she's been playing, Baltimore continues to play excellent defense and steps it up a little on offense, and Thurman stays in the game and plays up to her potential, LA can definitley handle anybody they're gonna come across this season, including Jackson Co. Did anybody catch the Tennessean mid-state top 10 this morning??? They finally ranked LA over Jackson Co...GO LADY CATS!!!

Jackson Co. did the exact same thing last year when they lost to Clarkrange...And nobody cared then...Why do they now...

Our beloved 7AA's Livingston Academy beat Obion by 15...

I pick LA by 6...It'll be interestin to see how Beechboard and Hensley do against each other...Should be a great night.

LA by 10 By the way, their 1 loss was Nov. 18 which was before the season started on Nov. 25...So they don't have to put it on their record...Or that's my understanding anyways.

Yeah...I agree. But if either one of these teams isnt careful come tournament time they could easily get upset by York or Upperman. This year is going to be VERY interesting...Another interesting thing is just who is going to be nominated for Miss Basketball. This year's senior class is LOADED with talent. Of course, I'm giving the edge to Beechboard as the best...But there's Hall,Hensley, Johnson, Lee...Anything could happen. Like I said...This season is going to be very interesting to say the least.

Seeing as how there are not very many games played on Saturday night...Sure...It's the biggest.

I'm not sure how much sickness LA has but if they have any at all, if they get over it, and bring their A game...They can win.

Livingston freshmen beat Smith Co. freshmen by 30 something last night...

How can you say that Brown is better than Beechboard...There is no way. Brown may be better as a sophomore than Beechboard was...But right now...No, she is not better.

With or without the flu...York can't handle Jackson Co.

WOOOO...LA by 12. That's what i was talking about. The WHOLE TEAM came to play and they pulled it out. One of the best games Baltimore has ever had. She was doing great, Thurman was doing great, Thompson was doing great...That's what we need every night. They were down for a while...But they rebounded from it and overall they played a great game!

There wouldn't have been a big shot to make if it wasn't for her 20 points and 12 rebounds. I agree I may be making her out to be a bit more than she is but...Sorry. Livingston Academy won't be doomed...But they will be in a world of hurt without her. Right now, she is their glue. You said without her teammates she is just another player...Take her away from her teammates and see what you get. If she wasn't there LA would still be good, but they would not be the powerhouse they are right now.

I realize they were winning state championships long before she ever put a jersey on...BUT...She is the only one on the team who ALWAYS comes out to play and ALWAYS comes through for the team...Sometimes she has to take over and do everything herself because no one else will. If everyone will step up and play the way they can they will be an amazing team.

I'm not sure I'd go as far as saying they have the best...But Livingston has a pretty strong freshman class!

If someone shows up to play along with Beechboard LA will win...She's great...But she can't do it all herself. If they play like they did at Cookeville they will get beat. But, coming out of that game and it being the first home game I think LA will come out strong and win against a good York team.

It really doesn't matter what she can or cannot do in college...The award is given to the best high school player...Beech...definitely.
