  1. Last game at Warren Cty. went to OT. I dont see that happening again. Cookeville plays well on their homecourt.
  2. You are right. Siegel did beat Blackman. They should have beaten Blackman. Look at all the talent Siegel has. How many points did Roper have that game? I know Hill had around 22 or so.
  3. You are right he would not get as much attention. Mostly since he is only about 6'3 at the tallest and both teams have guys around 6'7. Also Cookeville does not have all state caliber players such as Allen, Oden, and Ramsey where they get most of the looks. So if he played for one of those teams he would not get the shots he does now on Cookeville
  4. once again, i did not go to the game. i was just stating what some people who went to the game told me.
  5. i usually will cheer for those i see working hardest on defense and do the untangible things
  6. We Cookeville fans are biased towards Matt Hill and you siegel fans are biased towards Darious Roper. Luckily, Coacht.com was set up for us to argue our points. Anyways, most people who are going to read these posts are going to believe Roper is the better shooter, not because that is what they have witnessed, but because there are far more siegel posters than Cookeville posters. I will take Matt Hill on my team anyday of the week.
  7. could not make the game myself, but I heard the refs were from the 'boro
  8. im gonna take shelbyville in this one
  9. im gonna go with my boys from C-town. they lost in ot to blackman and i believe they will bounce back and end the week strong
  10. i would say that is how C-town runs it
  11. just because roper has shot more doesnt prove that he is the better shooter. i would say he should shoot more since he is a guard while hill is a post.
  12. ill saying shooting over 6'5 id harder, im not real sure as i have never actually played before, but it seems harder cause they are taller and longer
  13. ill take hill shooting the trey anyday of the week. he has to shoot over the taller players in the district, while roper shoots over guards
  14. Ramsey is one of the better players in the district, he just hasnt played enough for me to consider him one of the best... Hill- cookeville Allen- oakland oden- siegel wade- oakland payne- lebanon ... no particular order
  15. I remember that one. I was like WTF?!!! Zac Hennigan can dunk it nicely, but wont do it unless Cookeville has a lead. Also Stearman went up for one the other night, but lost his handling on the ball in the air.
  16. Im sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers will go out toward his family, especially during the holiday season
  17. JC will not win, they might be a little tired from last nights win over Monterey. Watch for Cookeville's football players to come and open up the game. Dont be surprised if by the end of the game Lee Maxwell and Austin Norton get in.
  18. Acres has not played as much since the football players are back. He has an unbelievable shot.
  19. Cutter has skills, but will need to start thinking while he is on the court. He turns the ball over waaaay too much. He will also need to grow about 4 or 5 inches to be a big D1 prospect
  20. I know some people have been giving you beef about Pacman, but Im not going to. Im a huge fan of him, and he will be a good player in years to come. He just needs to learn that you cant use your hands like you could in college
  21. Judah Acres is for real. He absolutely lit Scott Thomas up. I can hardly wait to watch him grow as a player. Taylor Hennigan is also a good freshman, he was on the varsity football team. He is the younger brother of varsity standout Zac Hennigan.
  22. we as the DELI have been there, maybe you should talk to the other students
