Hey boyz, Sorry it has been so long, but I have been on holiday to Tahiti! The govs look strong this year, but not quite as strong as my beloved red rebels. Oooh did I say rebels? That is certainly a bad word around East Tennessee these days! I still look for Brad Walker and Ronald Osborne to wear opponents out! They can't hold a candle to GQ and company. Did I ever tell you that I went out with GQ a couple of times. He wasn't near as nice to me as Scott Meadows. I had an opportunity to watch the scrimmage the other day and I saw a little West Coast Offense from the Govs. You have got to love an innovater, and I sure do.... Love you boyz!

Hey boyz! Had to "chime" in here because I just love the bands! As for your question does anyone play "Dixie?" I can't remember any local high schools playing that song, however, I can remember the "Dixie Red Coat Band" from the University of Georgia playing it on a regular basis. Also, The University of Mississippi plays "Dixie" on occassion, however, I don't think they will be playing it alot this weekend at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Now for the correction for Rebelron...'tis true the tune of my beloved red rebel fight song is the same as Notre Dame, however, the words are much different. I know you know this rebelron, just trying to inform our readers. The lyrics go something like this: "We are the rebels of Maryville High, You bring the whiskey, I'll bring the rye! We'll send sophomores out for gin, and never let a sober senior in! We never stumble, we never fall We sober up on grain alcohol, We don't waste any, we drink it all, We're the drunkards of Maryville High!" It brings a tear to this girls eye just to hum a long. I know there are variations on the lyrics, however, I think it shows a lot about a school that every alumni can sing this song and holds their head high when it is played! Love you boyz!

Hey boyz! Football Emeritus...it shames me that you call yourself a rebel supporter. Hair styles have nothing to do with ability. From what I saw all of William Blount's kids had mowhawks or some type of unique hair style. I am confident they will not win or lose by how they style their hair. I heard some of the same grumblings from the William Blount faithful, but I don't think it was sour grapes, I think they are just frustrated for their kids. I saw the same green haired little boyz at the Everett soccer matches last week. I personally don't like that coach because he is loud and obnoxious. However, is that a fair statement. One could also say he is enthusiastic and motivated. Our red rebel machine is nothing to be compared to. WE (rebel fans) don't need to add fuel to the fire by suggesting we are better because of our non-desheveled appearance. I do agree team discipline is needed in any program, but to suggest Meadow's doesn't have it, because of these boyz' haircuts is ludicrous. I have had issues with you before, because I know we didn't date when you were younger because I wouldn't date an arrogant person like you. However, I can't fault you for moving to our community and falling in love with the red rebels. It is easy to love a winner and a winning program. Take the high road! The red rebels have the best talent that can be locally recruited and everyone knows it. That is not sour grapes that is fact! They also pay their coaches and teachers more so one could make the argument that these folks are better. I don't necessarily believe that. Nothing could compare to the elementary education I received at Rush Strong and the High School education at Walland. I am not sure Suzette is gonna like you much anymore FBE! However, Starz you are still #1 in mammy and deddy's eye! Love you boyz!

Hey boyz! It was a great game! The red rebel machine that me, Ted Wilson and Suzette have recruited for the last 25 years was in place and rolling! As I watched the game all I could think about is man what a dynasty our recruiting has created. I mean even in the over 30 category at half-time you could see the prowess of the lone county-boy Larry Headrick. If I remember correctly ole Larry went to Fairview with me and then when I was swayed, I was able to sway him to Maryville Junior High and the rest rebel fans is history. Maryville year in and year out is the highest recruited, best coached well oiled machine out there. The cupcakes were great! I talked to Starz and Rebelsman last night, but of course they are still amiss as to who I was! I looked all over the place for the "outed" govman. Now that I know who he is I can't ever find him. I guess he was on the opposing sideline. As for the tripping divot...that is the grass that I told Ted to put in about 20 years ago. It seems he and Don Story got in a little tiff over it, Ted left to greener pastures, Don moved in to coach and donate a lot of money and the grass remained to help trip up Osborne on what surely was destined to be a William Blount score. Well enough said, the Red Rebels didn't pull the line and if I were a bettin' girl...I would have lost some of my a@#. However, I am not, and my arse looks as good as ever! It sure is a shame all those county boyz and their sons and daughters have seen the light and being highly educated in the stately halls of rebel land! What a game, bring on Larry Stephens, who I used to date...and the Powell Panthers! Heck, we may let Larry Headrick play third team quarterback! Love you boyz!

Ok, 1st of all the only recruiting that goes on for Maryville is the recruiting that Suzette and I do! We are the only licensed recruiters for the Red and Black! Maryville will beat M0-West this year probably twice on their way to a 15-0 season. Hey boyz! I have been on holiday in Madagascar! Suzette is working on landing a new fullback for my beloved red and black! The strangest thing while I was over there, I heard, (you know how I am about rumors) that Maryville was recruiting a Banks kid from North Carolina. It seems this kid can really play, however, he likes to play his radio a bit too loud. Never-the-less most good coaches overlook this less than positive attribute. I say as long as he doesn't steal or print money...he can play at Lawrence Avenue! Also, I bet you won't see George Quarles not going to UNO's pizzeria because he thinks William Blount or Heritage is going to serve him papers for alleged recruiting violations. Speaking of recruiting violations...Suzette is really working hard for Quarles in the off season. Ted Wilson would have been proud. I think the red and black are a team to be reckoned with for a time to come! I am out on a limb here....15-0 baby! Add another state title to the mix! Hey boyz! 5743...you sound pretty omnipotent about Billy Blunt Football! How do you know how smart Lucas Wall is? What about Andy Nick? Is he going to play any QB? As for the wing T and average lineman...the only thing you need to do on defense to stop it is to crash the ends on the guards and force the backs deeper to allow your linebackers to make the plays. Well I am not sure about that, it is just what a "man" told me! Actually the man was Coach Ratledge at Sevier County High School, who has written a few books on stopping the "T!" Of course I am not sure whether that occured before or after McMinn or Bradley hung 68 on the scoreboard against them! Love you boyz!

Hey boyz! Gov man...I had an opportunity to go by the new "Meadow" at Mike White field yesterday too. Noticebly absent were the Walker kid and the Osborne kid. I assume track was calling for these two athletes. How in the world have you been? How is the Eggers kid doing from Heritage? I think William Blount might be special, but they are going to have a tough time with the Red and Black this year. When I first read this, I was thinking Rebelsman had offered to meet up with you today. I was gonna be a little jealous, especially if you got to ride in his big new Hummer! Hey boyz! Well this is just rumor and speculation on this uninformed woman's part...but if Ronald doesn't do what he needs to do... He will be the star tailback at Blount County's Alternative School, if they have one! I have a cousin that says Ronald wants to transfer, is not happy and doesn't work hard to learn the system. Hey boyz! Brad Walker is a fine young man! Dustin Lindsey is a fine young man also! Ronald Osborne will be lucky to play for William Blount this year. He has loads of talent, but he is not doing what he needs to do in the off season. Rewis will win at least 3 games for the Mountain Ears this year! Danny Wilson is the best coach Heritage ever had and all my brothers and one sister played for Coach Renfro, so you know that is a big statement. Maryville will just reload this year! With me and Suzette on the recruiting trail and with Starz running the trash route in North Knoxville...it can only get better! I just want to set the record straight on this "recruiting" that keeps coming up...Marvyille does not recruit. They stopped doing that when Brett Coulter, Ricky Maples and Ronnie Irwin had to take a trip down to Hermitage to answer those interogatories from the living legend (in his own mind) Ronnie Carter! Since that time, any payments have gone discreetly to Dr. Dalton to help him fund his sons college education! Everything else at my beloved Red and Black has been done above board. She spent all her time working on the Aussie Flossie and neglected the younger Clausen. I neglected the older Clausen and we both dropped the ball(s) so to speak! Gov Man you were right about the assignments, just wrong about the teacher. It was Stinnett's industrial arts classroom project. It seems he made a wooden cradle, complete with rocker and all. Rumor has it that Clausen is dating one of the Maryville faculty and they might be expecting. Now I don't put a lot of stock in these rumors. I just deal with facts. Hey boyz! I have been on holiday to Sri Lanka again! The Aussie Flossie is considering backing out of his committment to the Red and Black. Suzette is working him hard, but it seems he and Gaylor had a little rift! Rewis is hard at work for the Mountaineer faithful. Word on the street is things are looking much better for the Scarlet and Blue. I stand corrected on the Meadow's rumor. Seems things are well at Billy Blunt. I heard Reeves had a contract with the Titans to work with their receivers. I am not sure how accurate that information is though! As for the tornadoes, just ask any of them...they are a team to be reckoned with this year. Reed has been working them hard in the weight room. I am missing the football action and it won't be long until we are back in the swing of things in Blount County! It is so exciting to be a part of something so good! If Blount County had one large comprehensive high school, where all the students went....they wouldn't lose at anything. Well I don't think they would lose! They might struggle with debate or forensics...however, my money would still be on them at the social studies, and math contests! This kid from Australia that Suzette "landed" while we were on holiday will really help the red and black. The "Aussie Flossie" is some kinda wonderful! He runs a 4.2 forty, can throw a dart, hits like a mack truck and loves his future mother-in-law! Coach Q took it easy on Alcoa, I was at that game. It could have been much worse. Alcoa has a great coach and a wonderful program, it makes me mad that Billy Blunt is on the recruitin' trail! I heard if Blunt keeps swappin' coaches for playaz the big Ronnie Carter may get involved! I wonder if any money is being transferred? Speaking of Ronnie Carter....the TSSAA should be abolished. His name is Tom Floss...I call him the "Flossie Aussie!" Word is out that Meadows is leaving WB. I knew it wouldn't last. I knew the pressure of the red and black would get to him. I also heard that Rewis is loving Heritage and is there everyday and making things happen! As for the Tornadoes...I hear they are getting an influx of disgruntled Billy Blunt staff to help them out! I heard Fickert was coming from Denmark with a bag full of money and I.O.U.s to set the record straight and pay his debt to society as well as William Blount High School! I also heard Randy Sanders was looking at the Heritage program. Evidently he is like Booty and Padge and has heard he won't be relected...or in his case reselected! Aerosmith was awesome too!
