Patrick was a great all-around player, and it will be close to impossible for someone at a 1-A school to play football the way he did. You look at how competitive Bructeon was last year in their region, and look at them after losing a key player like that...

I didn't see too much of the bruceton game, but i did notice one thing about Orey Willis, i couldnt tell about agility, field awareness, or overall talent, but i can tell you one thing, this kid has got some speed.

Donald and Weathers are two fine atheletes with alot of potential, but at this moment they aren't at the same level as bell. Bell's grades are OK, not outstanding, but they are good enough for teams to look at him, which they are, but im not sure who exactly. Porter had right at 970 yds last season, but this is still preseason action........

The other guy that ran the ball last yr, was porter, and he had over 1000 yards last yr. He is at flanker on offense, and maybe begin to run the ball here pretty soon. as far as takin bell's spot, they are good...... but to replace someone with that much experience, speed, and talent...that will be very questionable, mainly because weathers is a sophomore who didnt see ne time last yr, and donald a freshman....they are definetly going to push bell, but i believe his experience will keep him at his spot

I agree with thriller, after seeing Bruceton play against westview, there is no reason for hunt. to overlook them. About parish the QB he cut his hand and had stitches, but they were takin out monday before the jamboree, and his fine and ready to go, and the left gaurd that was week, was someone filling in for spellings, b/c he hurt his toe in practice, but should be ready monday. He was possibly ready friday, they just didnt want to push ne thing, especially for a scrimmage

After watching the westview chargers and the bruceton tigers play a lil football, i can honestly say, unless there are drastic changes made, both of these teams are in for a long season.....

hey turbo, did huntingdon end up wit 16 or 17, i thought it was 10-0 then bell ran the TD, and they didnt kick the x-tra point cuz of time, or was it 11-0?

huntingdon 16-henry county 0 bruceton 0- westview 0 lightening ended the lexington, mck game early, and camden and west carroll didnt see ne time..... Huntingdon started off a little slow, but picked up the pace in the second half, and their defense was pretty strong, but still needs some touching up before next friday. Bruceton and Westview, are both down from last year, but as a whole they didnt look too bad, they're defintely two teams that you dont want to consider a day off game.

I am commenting on trulyhuge1's post on CC being a showdown with Huntingdon. I have not seen a CC scrimmage this year, but basically the same team is on the field as last yr, and as we all know, that wasnt much to watch. This years Huntingdon Seniors, the only thing they know to do is win, with 2 undeafeated jr high yrs, undefeated freshman season, and only losing 3 starters on offense, and 4 on defense, they are ready to see alot of playoff action. The showdown for the mustangs will be the milan game.... THAT WILL BE a test of their heart, but CC might play a good game, but i dont think they are at Huntingdon's level to have a "showdown" wit the stangs.

this game was well played between both teams, but Lexington had two 2 run homers to make the difference, thats not an excuse. That is a point that Lexington knows how to hit the baseball. Great game and good-luck to both for the rest of the season.

i believe will white will be on the mound for the stangs.

huntingdon, has just as much of a chance at beating lexington as any other team in west tn. Yes, I will give the defending state champs their props, they whooped are tails in the first game, but i just think it will be a closer game.

I was just wondering what the rest of yall think about tuesday's big game between the Tigers and The Stangs. I really think that the last game was just a fluke and the stangs are out for some revenge. They have really matured the past few weeks especially around the infield. I look forward to a great game. This is strictly coming from last years eigth graders and their undefeated season, but Huntingdons's upcoming freshmen, should be tough and ready to play some hard-nose football. Under the watchful guidance of Coach Sanders and Coach Miller, theses boys should come out ready to knock some jockstraps loose. Cedric Harris, Brent Taylor, Cody Crocker, Brandon McCormick, and you can't forget Chris Donald. They may dissappoint us, but it looks to be an exciting season.

fairview is horrible we have beat milan 8-0 westview 8-1 run ruled henry county since yall's little 1 run victory over us if fairview isn't scared come play huntingdon ina scrimmage ne day of the week yall wouldn't have a chance yall won't do nothin when it comes tourney time yall r getin all u're wins first of all from timing which was us first game of our season and the rest of the teams yall play aren't worth a flip and get over football we overlooked yall and ya got lucky if u noticed we killed mckenzie and yet yall got beat by them i didn't kno crap about chall we over looked ya and ya got lucky start using u're heads fairview ppl huntingdon would mop u in baseball so get over football cuz mckenzie which is horrible beat chall
