  1. Baylor will win it all in DII
  2. GPS 6 Grace 0 why did grace schedule senior night against GPS??????????????????????????????? bad move
  3. It will not be easy for the Ooltewah Lady Owls, but i know that they have the ability to win regions. GO LADY OWLS!
  4. If i play for soddy daisy, im feeling a little nervous, because that win is going to give red bank so much confidence heading into the playoffs, Ooltewah better beware also....
  5. The Lady Owls went with a new system, formation, and strategy in the McMinn CO. game. They switched to a defend and counter attack like system. It was only a matter of time until Watson or Creech would make something happen, and the patience finally payed off when Creech scored two in the final 15 minutes to give the Lady Owls the 2-0 victory. P.S. The goalkeeper (Kate Hundley) played great.
  6. If anyone has a problem with the Ooltewah fans banging on trash cans, you need to get over, 'cause they ain't gonna stop, YOU JUST CAN'T HIDE OWL PRIDE!!! Another thing, whichever girl hurt our starting, senior sweeper and captain better watch your back, what goes around comes around.
  7. I am not saying that Ooltewah will win the McMinn tourny, but I do have to say they have to be considered one of the favorites. Ooltewah is unbeaten in 7 as of 9/26/03 and are a confident bunch. The coaching staff and team captains have been working hard to get them up for this tournament. The Lady Owls are a strong team with potential, watch out!
  8. IN2VOLS, yeah, watson megged a boys player, but she didn't end up scoring, none of the girls scored in the actual scrimmage, just on PK's (which are practically gimmees). Never the less, I have to give props to Watson. Carrico is still awesome...................................... really.
  9. Ooltewah recently played at Hixson, and the flow of the game was affected due to the long grass. Ooltewah had a little trouble adapting since Ooltewah plays such a fast paced game. The Lady Owls still won 8-0, but on a regular field, it could have easily been worse.
  10. IT'S GREAT, TO BE, AN OOLTEWAH OWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN'T HIDE MY OWL PRIDE!!!!!!!
  11. I agree with stayNskool, Watson is a baller. She is so freaking fast, its unbelievable. Her and Jessica Creech work magic up top! And yeah, Sarah Carrico is still awesome!! OOLTEWAH IS AWESOME!!!!! LADY OWLS ALL THE WAY!!
  12. I have to agree with IN2VOLS, the kids on the sideline with ref shirts on are awesome!! Those kids are better referees than the TSSAA referees. No, but seriously, I recently played the the US youth soccer southern regionals in North Carolina, that is how referees should call the play. TSSAA referees do not even compare to the referees in natioal competition. TSSAA referees need improvment.
  13. The Hooligans are with out a doubt the best soccer fans in east Tennessee, and maybe beyond. What other school has a student turn out for a girl's soccer match like that? The Hooligans are loud, obnoxious, and funny. They bring pride to the Lady Owls, and for sure intimidate the oppenents. The drums, the sirens, the airhorns, the signs, the chants, the cheers, the bull horn, and the outfits make for quite a show. GO LADY OWLS!!!
  14. OO-LT-EWAH, OOLTEWAH!!!! Congrats to the Lady Owls for the FANTASTIC performance in the CCS tournament!!!!! The Lady Owls truely showed up to play, which was why they had little trouble beating Warren Co., 6-2; Kingston, 3-2; and Science Hill, 5-3 to win the CCS tournament. The energy was felt in the Ooltewah players, coaches, parents, and students as the Lady Owls are now a very confident team. Jessie Watson, Jessica Creech, Kate Hundley, Holly Hullander, Missy Howl, and Sarah Carrico were fantastic in the Lady Owls' games. If you were worried about Ooltewah when they lost 3 of the first 4 games, look out THEY'RE BACK!!!!!
  15. SARAH CARRICO with the Ooltewah Lady Owls! shes got skill, determination, leadership, devotion, and attitude. WHAT A PLAYA!
  16. Ooltewah is going to be a tough team to beat this year period! With the offensive power they have, they're dangerous! Jessica Creech, Jessie Watson, Holly Hulander, and Missy Howl have proven themselves to be dangerous scoring threats, but also, a couple freshman look promising for the present and future, including forward Katie Page and keeper Katy Ahrens. Some may say the defensive end is weak, but when Carrico is recovered from her knee injury (she has already begun playing short shifts in games) her leadership and determination will lead the young defense. The coaching staff is probably the best in the state with Bill Winchester and Curtis Blair running the show, along with Stan Summrell and Sophomore goalkeeping sensation Jeremy Williams, the Lady Owls are in good hands. Ooltewah has 1. offensive firepower, 2. leadership, 3. depth, and 4. a great coaching staff. The Lady Owls are a young, hungry team that has the ability to win. GO LADY OWLS!!
