katfo15 if u notice in my post i did not even mention that kids name so why do you fill u need to come back in here and mention it so everyone can start bashing her again.brittney rice is a good softball player and a good kid so please leave her aND THE PARENTS OUT OF THIS POST.and leave her parents out of it to.GOOD PEOPLE).hope they dont run out of gas.

ok here it is spelled out.9 times out of 10 its the jrs and seniors that get to play on game day and they usually are the best players or almost the best players.(not about the kids)then the coach will play the kid or kids she likes the most or parents kid he or she likes the most.(politics). then u have the 9th and 10th grade parents who thinks his or her kid is better then the other players on the field and he or she starts talking to the other players parents which carries over in the car on the way home and there u have it. mushrooms from there.if u want your kid to get the playing time he or she deserves unless they are studs in there sport school ball unless its football or basketball that brings in the money in for the school then play on a summer team u might get a better shot there because no principle or board is going to give u the time of day for girls softball. its to much a pain for them and does not make money.

not in high school is it about the kids. its about the best players u can put on the field and then the politics come in to play.

yes its true and no they have 3 very capable pitchers. all 3 did well over the weekend. this team looked really strong all weekend.they have some really good ballplayers on this team and they are from what i seen very united as a team. good senior leadership with casey and mongar. i really hope the are over looked because they will surprise this year.

im not trying to take anything away from the mt juliet team because they did go undefeated at there tournament and a great tournament.but with holly on the mound for ooltewah and not coming off a 11 inninng game with goodpasture mt juliet loses in the championship game.saunders was 1 ft away from hitting her 2nd home run of the weekend and that game was over early. sorry just my take on the game.

you are right.i dont no what these coaches are looking for in a player.there are kids being taken that i cant figure out why?. look on the local level here in chatt and there are some good ball players left that have not signed and players that have signed that the ones that have not have worked circles around them. go figure.i guess itd cheaper for them to walk on with the good grades.dont seem fair.

mt juliet won 3or 4 to 1. being a playday u sure would not have known it from the goodpasture game or the crowds they had there. good tournament mt juliet. good job on the ooltewah teams performance all weekend. ran out of gas in the end.congrats to the ooltewah parents for showing that all the bull being said is not true.congrats to the saunders kid for a big weekend and thomas for a big pitching weekend.it boggles my mind that the saunders kid is still unsigned yet.whats wrong with you coaches.this team will turn some heads before the year is out. good job all around to the whole team amd miss nelson.

i said what i had to say. i like the kid and her family and i wont expand on it any more.

i dont have a problem with her. she really is a sweet kid. the problem lies with the other girls on the team. there the ones that have the problem with her. she could really be a good leader for this team. but cussing other girls out for something that all 3 were doing(going for the ball) is not right and it does not hold a candle with most.

no plain and simple. soddy has already shown they cant play with the nashville teams.

yea i heard about the fence deal last nite and what i heard it came from both sides of the fence.1st and second baseman and outfielder going for the ball and the 1st and second baseman got cussed out because they did not guide her. and just think those 2 are backing her up tonight. it will come back to her and the ones on the other side of the fence.

it is funny. what u have here is unhappy freshman parents because there kids are not getting any playing time.norma still and by all rights lets the upper classman play and u have parents whose kids play on summer ball teams that think there kids should be starting and its not going to happen.the only thing that norma needs to do is revamp her hitting lineup and make a few changes in the outfield. her infield is fine with the exception of some lackluster plays at 3rd and 1st base.the kids that are playing there have the talent to play those positons but have made some mistakes that have cost this team dearly.just because your kid plays on a summer ball team does not mean they have the talent or the ability to go up against 18 year old girls. sorry but thats the way it is.

talent for talent ooltewah can play with anyone in the district.it all will tell this afternoon which team shows up to play red bank. there pitching can stack up against anyone in the district.there shortstop and second baseman can play with anyone.1st base and 3rd base are questionable and the out field is septable to anything.good luck to the girls and i hope they can turn it around for themselves and play the ball they are capable of playing.
