  1. Congratulations Vikings and Coach Frost on your first region win!! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> You have all worked so hard to get the program going. It says a lot about your coaching staff, players, and community support to get a big region win so early in your program. Great job!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. Congratulations Champions on that decisive win!! Now, Butchie, could you correct the score on the scoreboard? It was 48-24, NOT 42-28. We may need those points before the end of the season. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  3. Cascade 47 -- Eagleville 13 Great game, guys.
  4. Congratulations, Lady Champs!! Way to hang in there.
  5. Oops, Supaballa, you missed this one! Cascade 61-57. Great game, Champs.
  6. Not to take anything away from the Eagleville team, Goforthegoal, but the Cascade team was dealing with the death of a senior classmate who died in a car accident the night before the Eagleville-Cascade game. Most of the students did not even find out about it until they got to school Friday. Coupled with the loss last spring of a teammate, it's a wonder these guys even made it out on the field. They have had to handle a lot of adversity in the last six months. My hat's off to them, and to all of Region 6A - high school football at its best!
  7. Chris is an assistant football coach and head baseball coach, both at the high school level.
  8. Those who knew and loved Allen Ray thank you for your support and prayers this week. The various services have helped the healing to begin, but many will feel the pain for a long time. Be sure to tell your loved ones that you do love them, today. I hope Allen knew how much he is loved and will be missed.
  9. Please remember the Cascade High School community in your prayers this week. Allen Ray, a popular sophomore football and basketball player, died suddenly late Monday due to an undetected physical condition. We are in a state of shock and grief. The school is planning a memorial for Thursday afternoon, with his funeral on Friday afternoon. It has been a tough week. Allen was a great kid with a lot of potential, both athletically and personally. Pray for his family and friends as we face the next few days. We loved him.
  10. What a great game Lady Champs!!! #54 with 41 points was awesome, as was the entire team the entire game. You 6 girls never gave up. We are all so proud of you.
  11. TSSAA score is a typo. 42-31, DCA. amc, the only reason I didn't post it earlier is that I just got home. Late game, almost 10 pm before the finish. Congratulations Cascade on a great season. Good luck to DCA next week.
  12. You are more than welcome, Panfan. Will we see you at the game?
  13. Panfan - Cascade is halfway between the towns of Bell Buckle and Wartrace in Bedford County. From Nashville, take I-24 east towards Chattanooga. There are two exits off of I-24 that will get you there. I like to get off the Shelbyville exit at Hwy 231 in Murfreesboro (exit 81 I think). Head south towards Shelbyville. Not sure of the mileage, but 10-15 miles south of I-24 turn left (east) on Hwy 82 (there is a well-lighted BP Market there). About 5 miles from Hwy 231 you will enter the town of Bell Buckle. Take a right at Hwy 269 before crossing the railroad tracks in Bell Buckle. The school is 2 miles from Bell Buckle on the right. The parking lot is between the elementary and high schools. Come on down!!
  14. Thanks for the update, Thelma. Adam is in our thoughts and prayers daily. He sure has some good friends down there in Wayne County. Keep us posted on his condition as you can.
