One thing Hoopgurlz will tell is that they will not rank anyone they havent seen. Which I appreciate. If you go to their website & click on the 2010 prospects, there are alot more TN girls listed. Most of the girls have a score of 40, which means hoopgurlz has not seen them play. They have a list that tells you what each score means.

Just keep in mind that what God has for you, noone can take away. So if it's His will, then the injury is just a step in showing His glory in what you overcome to get there. You sound like you have a very level head. Just keep positive people around you & keep thinking positive thoughts. God Bless

Does anyone know the schedule for the Coffee Co Christmas tourney?

My niece stretched her ACL her senior year in high school. Rehabbed, then tore it her freshman year in college & redshirted. She's finally back playing, and is just now coming out of the mental part of it. The beginning of this year had been really hard on her. We've gone to see her & just kept talking to her. She was physically okay before she was mentally okay. It takes time but just keep encouraging her .

Show them the players that have come back from the injury to excel. The main thing I have noticed is the mental part of the injury is sometimes harder to deal with than the actual injury. Just keep encouraging them & as RM said, do everything the dr says to do.

If you go to your school page & click on the help or comment button (can't remember which) you can send them a message. I did that yesterday, they said it would take about 48hrs to get a response back. I did it to give them name spellings & such. If it works & I remember I'll post about it.

I haven't seen Kayci play in a few years, but it sounds like you're leaving everything up to the high school coach. If a player wants to expand on their skills, it's up to them to take responsibility for that. There are things they can do outside of school to get better. A high school coach is not a personal trainer, they have other kids to help, especially if those other kids are not up to par.

Momma Shox, I'll be honest with you, I don't have a clue what it means. At the end of the day win in your district & region to get to that next step. Hopefully along the way you'll play against teams that will get you ready for your regional tournament & beyond. Will you be @ Tuesday's game? If so I'll say hi in person...

The game was pretty much decided by the guards. McGavock is bigger, stronger, & faster @ the guard position, but they played scared. It was like they let the name Mt Juliet get in their head before the game started. But, Tuesday's another game against Clarksville.

Caya did well. McGavock had a rough night, out coached, out played in most positions. Congrats to Mt Juliet for a well executed game plan.

Her 3pt shot just may be off right now. During AAU she was very consistent, lights out as a matter of fact. So if she's doing this with her 3 being off, oh my!

For such a young player, she seems to know her strengths & weaknesses very well & plays accordingly.

It seemed as though no matter who Clarkrange put in, they were able to light it up from 3pt range. Also excellent press.

McGavock lead most of the game. A Shelbyville layup @ the buzzer made it a 3pt game instead of a 5pt game. McGavock would have won by a lot more but missed @ least 12 freethrows. It's funny how every one assumes McGavock isn't any good. Like beating Hillsboro was a fluke. We got put out of sectionals last year by the eventual state champs. We won every quarter against them but the 3rd, which bit us. Keep assuming though....

As she is a senior & it is the early signing period, I would think its what they said, a signing.

Mt Juliet is in the Leroy Wright Tourney. They are in the opposite end of the bracket as McGavock. The dates are not correct on the bracket so I'm not sure if they play Tues or Wed. It's @ Cane Ridge. Metroman were you @ the Overton-McGavock scrimmage?
