  1. What is the point of running M'Ville's O without M'Ville's players?
  2. I heard they had a transfer (minority from N.C.) who playde Q.B. at his previous H.S. Any news about this HHS faithful?
  3. What opponents do these two teams have in common? From previous posts I gather that the Science Hill Institute of Technology has played Bearden, so has DB but Jethro Co. has not. Bearden played DB suprisingly close didn't they? Who else has bearden played? Don't misunderstand me, I am merely tring to get a handle on 'WHO'S WHO".

cooter, Try not to throw all the fancy computer workings on this board. All those pretty colors and different fonts just make my eyes glaze over with delight. Sounds like you have your finger on the perverbial pulse of K-town daddisms. Step up to the plate. Give us, "leonard's losers" and a score. As you set at your computer all slack-jawed trying to figure out who in Sam Hill is Leonard, think about this: 1) Halls is coming out of a 4 game winning streak (albeit four bad to mediocre teams). 2) Clinton is missing a few good men. (players whom have quitten) 3) Halls' young'ns are just now learning to play against kids with 1 to 3 years more "football" experience. 4) Clinton is the second "headless" team that Halls has played. (South-Doyle)
  5. Face it, if they were any good they would be recruited.....uh playing for the mighty rebs.
  6. J- Co had better worry about the Hill toppers, Bulldogs and Smoky Bears before they make any reservations at the Borro.
  7. Maryville will always play the County Schools. They would be upset if they didn't have a chance to play Maryville. Heritage William Blount Alcoa This only leaves 1 opening. They have played Morristown West the last few years. Morristown West has been to the semifinals the last 2 years. After next year they may pick up another team. In the past they had 7 region games. This was when South Doyle and Anderson County was in the region. This goes with the 3 county school games. Boy Rebelron, I bet the "powers-that-be" are REALLY concerned about upsetting those poor little ole schools that get trounced year in and year out. I can't help but contemplate what the situation would be like if the proverbial success shoe was on the other foot. Would Maryville be "upset" if their annual @$$whipping didn't take place? Give us all a break.
  8. Why doesn't Maryville play Fulton or Austin East ? Quit picking on those county rivals (lame excuse) and schedule some REAL talent. Take a trip to West or even Middle TN. If they really wanted to improve the program by getting national attention, why not venture to Moeller, Trinity or Independance? Enquiring minds want to know.
  9. Rebelron, How many of the previously mentioned teams were during the play-offs ? How many were during the regular season ? Don't bother to mention the scrimmages, they don't go on your record. Trurebelplaya, What you say is true.
  10. No susie darlin, I DO mean "ends and outs" it is a play on words that the overly educated Maryvillian may or may not pick up on.
  11. Helton has to search high and low to find a Bad football team willing to play him/them.
  12. How much of the success experienced at the high school is due to the fact that you have a middle school program? I see it as an extremely beneficial factor, partly because of the community support and communication between the middle school and high school programs.
  13. you say the "Dynasty begins to crumble". Well don't think not winning the state is every is some type of a crumble. Maryville is in what I consider in a re-building phase but make no mistake, Maryville kids never give up and continue work hard to stay on top which is harder than getting to the top. Being on top is something maryville knows about. By the way what happened Jason’s baseball career? Could some one translate this jargon? What is he/she trying to say? Referring to SOME of you as "sheep" means that you follow a particular team without knowing the end and outs, the who and what. Obviously a great number of you ARE well informed as to the Maryville situation. GREAT, you love your local high school, nothing could be better. Some of you are NOT, and you exhibit it like an ugly woman exhibits her engagement ring. If the hat/shoe/name fits, wear it.
  14. Philster (pick up a dictionary you idiot) and the rest of you Buffoons.... 1) If the shoe fits wear it! In regards to the "sheep" label. 2) I follow NO team, just High School Football. 3) I would wager that I know enough about football, more than what you may see on a Friday night. 4) If you see my name on a thread or post, SKIP IT. 5) Did the Maryville J.V. or Freshman play West?
  15. speed, This is a tough one. I have not seen either team play this year. I work nights. I don't know much about Mo-east. Carter, I feel, will FIND a way to lose. I must give the tradition banner and the win to Mo-east over a much improved, yet not ready for prime-time Carter.
