When do the Science Hill start playing.

Bearden and Farragut to state again I am afraid. Science Hill, DB and South will take to much out of themselves playing each other, to enable them to advance. The big success is beating the other teams, if the Hilltoppers beat DB then they have had a good season, same for DB, if they beat Science hill the season has been a success. Big problem is the lack of quality club soccer in the NE of the state, Science Hill I think will be the most successful, but will be pushed very hard by Sullivan South.

Cant remember if he is at Farragut or Bearden, defender / midfielder plays for Diadora Impact, red hair, very good player.

Got nothing to do tonight, so fancy watching a game, is anybody scrimmaging tonight at home, Franklin, Centenial, Ravenwood, Brentwood???

Surely, that is what you should be saying at every practice session and game? You need to have the self confidence and a bit of arrogance, get cocky, tell people that you are going all the way this year, you need to put pressure on yourself and your team to achieve the goals. Dont settle for 'we all played great', demand excellence, if you are going into the season without seeing yourself playing in the state finals, you may aswell finish now.

D1 - Should have the most depth and the best D1 teams will be (usually) better than the best DII, DIII or NAIA. DII - Some good competitive teams, but an awful lot of teams not very good at all DIII - No scholarships, but some very good players who choose to go to the school for education first NAIA - Some very, very good teams, who could compete very well with a lot of the god DI teams. A lot of foreign / older players traditionally played NAIA, new rules are limiting this now. Junior College - Some good junior colleges, once again a lot of foreign players involved.

Independance scrimmaged last night, they beat Page 4-0.

Dont live in the NE anymore but try to get to a couple of games. Got to a couple in the fall, the team looks like it can only get better.

King was looking good this season, they will be even better the next two years, should compete for a top ten spot over the next couple of years.

Surely the travel programs in Knoxville must help feed the program?

Look for Sullivan South to progress to the Knoxville boys and maybe slip through to the final eight. They got better last year, have a lot of seniors this season who have played together since u-10.

I watched Centenial play a couple of weeks ago, just before the got knocked out, they had two freshman playing, a blonde headed player (left defender) and another smallish blonde headed player, playing defensive midfield. Anybody know names or if the play travel?

That is the problem, the reward for the winner tonight, a trip to Bearden or Farragut!

Souths field is maybe the narrowest field in the State, they are trying to make it wider but has not made a difference yet. With such a narrow field it is real hard to use the width of the field, that is why South can afford to have some weakness with their outside defenders, their middle defenders soak up the balls that get played down the middle.

Game is being played at South's field, this will definate help the rebels, it is a very narrow field. Should be a great game, a few players may be a bit stiff and bruised, but look for a close one with a South 2 - 1 win.

Science Hill should be in the top ten, about #7 - 8

South comes through this one 3 - 1, they scored two own goals a couple of weeks ago and wont let that happen again. Hopefully RG will be fit for a couple of goals.

Anybody looking to tryout for the upcoming fall travel season?? TNFC will be having 2 teams at the 90 age group, the highly succesful TNFC 90 blue and the White team will have a new coach. June 15 and June 17 at the rec center in Franklin: 7:15 - 8:45pm
