i wasnt able to attend this game like i had previously hoped, are there any stats up or who played well for each team?

i disagree with the previous statement of Oneida being better than CAK, almost only counts in horseshoes, but the Warriors should be a 6-1 team right now because the only team that outplayed them was Midway. I'm excited to hear about the Coalfield-Midway game and im defenitley attending this game. This is one of the best years for this region as every team, with the exception of Oakdale, has been able to play with each other every friday night.

whats going to go on with this game. Looks like Midway has a team this year that could be battling for the number 2 spot in the region but theyre going to have to beat a tough Coalfield team. Whats your prediction for this game?

CAK looked good last night but on a sad note, it looks as if Miles Chaney is out for the remainder of the season.

i think that this should be a good game, i dont know how well Sunbrights defense will do against CAK's air attack, but i know that the Warriors better watch Sunbrights star QB. I believe that if they can stop him from running, then this game should go in favor of the Warriors. and sorry about messing up the homecoming thing, i didnt know of the change.

this game is going to be interesting, Coalfield and their many offensive weapons(Lowe,MPG,Hensley,etc) might be able to outplay Greenback's secondary, but in the trenches will be a win for Greenback. This Greenback team is in no way as good as last season's team as they have only had 2 convincing wins(Gordonsville and Midway) and have struggled with Pigeon Forge and CAK before then. as TNfball said, a team that passes on them may have the upperhand as long as they are able to pick up the blitzing LB's and they come from every which way. Coalfield on the other hand is supposedly having defensive problems and if you cant stop James, Way, and Helton, youre not gonna come within 3 touchdowns of these guys. I refuse to pick a winner on this game because its gonna be whoever wants it most.

the key to this game for Coalfield, is intensity. if Coalfield can be as intense as they ever have been on defense, this game will be a good one. my only thought is that ive heard that Coalfields defense seems to take plays off and thats not gonna work with weapons such as Helton, James and Way against you.

both teams are gonna work hard to win this game, Oakdale wants it to prove that they are a team that needs to be looked at and because its their homecoming. CAK on the other hand will need to win this game because if they believe the talks of them going to the playoffs, they need to win the rest of their games. Both teams are going to give it all they got in practice to prepare for friday night and i expect both teams to give a good showing on friday night. anyone remember Krissy Kream, Oakdales homecoming queen in 2001? what ever happened to her?

does anyone think that Seymour has what it takes to go pretty far this season, possibly to the State Finals? theyve impressed me this season falling only to a good Fulton team.

right now, id say Mark Cunningham of CAK is doing better than any other QB in Region 2. He leads the Knoxville Area with 627 yards passing, 622 yards in 2 games against good Greenback and Davidson Academy teams, with 2 interceptions and 4 touchdown passes.

all i know is that i once heard a fan at a UT game screaming "GO BACK TO GREENBACK!!!" after a ref made a terrible call.

i have a question. now i know about the whole 2000 undefeated season by Sunbright and i figure that the team that year had to have been pretty darn good to go undefeated. and i also know the team the next year wasnt bad by any means. so what happened with this huge dropoff from being undefeated one season and then 2 seasons later going winless?

you have to remember though Brian, DA was down 33-7 at the beginning of the 4th quarter so id put money that Ezell had their second team in. Now on the other hand, CAK about beat Greenback. now i know that about only counts in horseshoes, but thats not a bad about to be speaking of.

if youre asking what region, then id have to go with region 2. Austin James, arguably the best QB in 1A, Ricky Lowe, Mark Cunningham and Miles Chaney are all great QBs

saw O' Connor play in the game on Saturday and i was very impressed. He'll be one of the best kickers in one of the next couple years.

CYJacket funny you mention that evenness thing since your number 4 team scored as many points on your number 1 team as your number 2 team scored on your number 3 team. clearly all of these teams showed up to play on friday. that may not make sense to you but it makes perfect sense to me.
