what about Bill Young, former Bearden coach and current CAK coach? hes a very good coach, and has an incredible assistant in Allen Carlin who is the biggest student of the game ive ever met. maybe im partial but i consider Young to be top 5 coach in East TN.

bluesally, while you may say this is one of the weakest regions, with that comes one of the most competitive regions as well. with the exception of TSD, Sunbright, Oakdale, any of these teams could take the region champion title and that makes for watching these teams pretty darn fun.

1.Greenback-incredibly fast team with many skilled players like James and Helton 2.CAK-team that matured very much at the end of last season and has a large seniors class. 3.Oneida-always has a quality team that does well during the regular season 4.Coalfield-very good quarterback with quality set of recievers 5.Midway-im not sure how they will do since they dont have Big Joe Harmon anymore i dont know who will be better Sunbright or Oakdale but they dont have enough players to be very consistent because its incredibly hard for majority of the players to go both ways all the time. and who the heck is coachlogan75?

AusDan, im really getting tired of having to follow you around and making sure people know what you say is not the truth. CAK had a slow start to the year playing 3 very good teams in KCHS, Greenback and Webb but after the Webb game the Warriors seemed to mature much more and were very close to winning the last 7 games. they could very easily go 8-2, 9-1 this coming year because they lost only about 4 or 5 seniors all of which are easily replaced. look for them to be at least 2nd in their region this year.

AusDan, youre nuts you may say that Lenoir City overlooked CAK because they beat them 5-1 early in the year, but to say that Catholic overlooked them is crazy and correct me if im wrong but havent the Warriors beaten you guys 2 or 3 times in a row. and if Lenoir City did overlook CAK in such a big game as the Region Championship then maybe that wasnt a very disciplined team, not taking anything away from their skill because we all know they were good, but that shows a lack of discipline to overlook ANY team because anybody can beat anybody on any given day. It could be your opinion whether or not CAK should of won this title, but they DID deserve it otherwise they wouldnt have beaten quality teams like CCS and Lenoir City to get to where they are. Just remember talk is cheap, but whoever has the rings on their finger at the end of the day is the team that can back up the talk.

CAK defenitley is a better soccer team than LC. im not taking anything away from them but CAK has defeated them as well as your team. it just all goes back to the rings though. which team has them and which doesnt.

AusDan, how can you say CAK isnt the best team in A/AA. Maybe they did get lucky not having to play Ridgeway but LC and CCS are defenitley not better than CAK. Both teams have been beaten by them at one point or another and then if you dont think thats proof enough, lets check which team has the trophy that says "STATE CHAMPIONS" and which says "RUNNER-UP" i think that should be proof enough

Dude, CAK has beaten CCS and LC and Ridgeway shouldnt have lost that soon anyways. You cant take anything away from this CAK team. They are all very talented and deserved to win this for all the hard work that they put into this. JumpAround, that shows a lot of class that you can be a good loser as well as a good winner but those who put down a team that deserved to win the title, that just isnt cool. So congrats to BOTH CAK and CCS because you both had tremendous seasons.

peter peter peter peter peter peter, you are sadly mistaken my friend. CCS has a quality set of foot fairies out there but there is no way that they can pull it out against one of, if not the best, set of foot fairies in CAK history. believe me, ive seen them go through alot and they will take this one. the only bad part is that Coach Joe Platillero will not be there to see the Warriors get the rings. Im not gonna predict the score of this game but CAK will take this one, no doubt.

in region 2a, Harriman lost 9-6 to CAK and Greenback lost 7-1 to Rockwood. So both number 1 seeds from district 3a and 4a are out and the 2 seeds will play each other for the region title on wednesday at CAK.

also check out Ryan Cooper from CAK. While only on a 3-A team this kid is very good and has adjusted to high school baseball very well with a batting average over .500 and he is also very good shortstop.

Ryan Cooper for CAK is one of the best players that i have seen in a LONG time. When i first saw this kid hit the ball, i asked the coach if he was a junior or senior. I was VERY shocked to find out he was a freshmen. I guarentee you will be seeing this kid for a long time.
