Realize that popularity among kids does not mean wins. A good coaching staff will always have an assistant who is popular with the players. This young will make a great coach if given a chance. I think Kenny deserves some credit for starting him on the right path. As far as quoting you, as long as you post on this board I will quote you anytime I feel the need to.

what is the difference when a player is humiliating the coach with the way he plays. Sometimes players act like they have not been coached and need a reminder or two. If you have not coached before you really dont need an opinion on this anyway. Let coaches coach, players play, and FANS CHEER!

If someone really wants the job they need to hire him. They will not ask for all the things that Darth wanted and might do a good job. The improvements need to be made, but most coaches would like to prove their worth before asking. Flatt might have done mc a favor by not taking the job. Although I would like to see him prove he can win with yellow bus kids.

How do you think the coaches in region 6 a will fair when facing a legend by the name of Carlton Flatt. I personally feel that he will not intimidate any coach in he region. If he can coach kids that ride a yellow bus he might turn around the program at mc. Good luck it will not be that easy.

John Tucker will not go to moore county to coach football. He would never catch coach lawsuit flatt coaching there. By the way campbell has said he has not applied for the job. You may want to call mal moore at alabama to help in your search for a coach.

He has some support at the board of education. He really built cornersville into a contending team a few years ago.

Just heard they are trying to put a package together that will keep Campbell at Huntland. Right now they are not sure if they can compete with jack daniels. A great effort will be given to keep him at Huntland.

Campbell has a way of uniting voters. I have heard that he has talked to many of the board members. In fact he has severalrelatives living in the area. Could be the man to help boost the raider program.

Now that Robertson has given full reigns of the offense over to Mantooth, he is exploring options of re-creating his days as a head coach. He feels that this will be a good fit for him and will have the opportunity to pay back his alma mater.

Yes, he was born and raised there. Played college football in Franklin County as well. He also is knowledgeable in running the Wing T.

The next hire may be out of the Franklin County school system actually. Mr. Bean does not have a connection with this guy but he is in the Franklin County school system. I believe he has applied for the position and is actually a former DRVC head coach. He has an interest in being a head coach in the region again.

No, it is not the NASHVILLE paper. The name of the paper is called The Tennessean (covering middle Tennessee). I live in Franklin County which is about 80 miles SE of Nashville. I once had a subscription but have since cancelled because of their terrible coverage of athletics outside of NASHVILLE. Heck, there is a kid in Tullahoma that professional scouts are coming to watch every time he pitches. Tennessean reported how well he is playing. Don't know, don't read because if I were to bet, they probably have not. I saw Minor pitch against Huntland in the District tournament along with the Vandy pitching coach and UT pitching coach that were there. The kid can pitch and so can the Morris kid from Tullahoma. Sorry to high school sports fans in Middle TN who are missing out on the reporting of how well Middle Tennessean, oops, sorry, Tennessee athletes are performing. Good luck to both teams in the Tennessee state playoffs. By the way, I did check the Tennessean website and there is one article about the Morris kid, but that was six weeks ago. Also, doesn't Nashville have a Nashville paper called The City Paper. Anyway, Nashville is not the only city in this state.

I must have missed it. Did CPA already beat Huntland in the 1st round of the playoffs? I do believe Huntland held Mt Pleasant to their lowest point total of the year (21) and were just a couple of plays from being right in the game with Mt. Pleasant. I am not trying to predict Huntland will beat CPA, but I do believe you have to play the game, just ask Ron Zook and the Florida Gators. Looking forward to a possible rematch between Huntland and Mt Plaesant.
