  1. Giles County and Holt were impressive. However, keep in mind that BA was missing Brian Wright. Brian would have impacted Giles County's scoring and rebounding last night.
  2. Teaching and/or coaching experience in a Christian school. Bear in mind that my comments are based on a parent's perspective of information from a variety of sources. My belief is that Mr. Master's focus will be on the spiritual and for that reason will be looking at that pool of candidates.
  3. Based on available information, the selection will definitely come from outside the immediate BA family. The individual selected by Curt Masters will most likely have a Christian education background. Regardless of what the outside public perceives, he is a good man and tremendous leader. He will be missed.
  4. You're certainly entitled to your opinion and your interpretation of the whatever contact you may have had with BA parents and Coaches. However, your comment above about a very good kid tells me all I need to know about your character (or lack thereof).
  5. Congrats from BA. Outstanding win over a very good White Station team. Good luck in the championship.
  6. You obviously know absolutely nothing about the BA curriculum or the nationally recognized fine arts program. BA has a full complement of AP and honors courses (sorry Chinese is not currently offered but I'll be sure to speak to the head master). BA currently has former students at most of the Ivy League schools as well as the Service Academies.
  7. That's what I saw as well. Its possible that the predetermined plan was for Carter to take care of runner up and the lady take care of the winner. However, it does seem a little coincidental. Of course, Carter may have been worried that Coach Flatt was going to ask him for a check along with that gold ball
  8. Thanks for the kind words RRR. I am very proud of this year's group of seniors. Many of these kids have been together since middle school and have always carried the burden of high expectations. It was gratifying to see them go out with a state championship. Great game by both teams. Fulmer should be very excited about his incoming quarterback prospect.
  9. I assume the win was against MBA. How did BA look v. Siegel? BA has a number of players still in football but Wright and Brown should have played.
  10. The score was 21 to 14 at the half. Regardless, both teams are playing well and it should be a great game. BA defensive line will be the key. If they can put relentless pressure on Coleman, then BA will bring home the gold ball. I'm looking for a reverse score from the regular season game. BA 28 McCallie 21
  11. BA has kept the rushing yardage in check this year. If you review the first meeting, Baylor (and Cooper) had success with the short pass. The number of times (and yards) Cooper had by releasing at the line of scrimmage for the short pass was rediculous. Hopefully, BA will not repeat this problem from the first game. I believe that Baylor is playing at their peak and could upset BA's quest for gold ball number 10. That being said, I still believe that coach Flatt gets his 10th gold ball in 2006. Look for a close game early but BA wins by 10 and meets McCallie in the championship.
  12. I don't believe that they plan to play Brandon at the post (unless something has changed recently). It's way to early to know what the playing time will be but likely won't be at 5.
  13. Nope. Same seating arrangements as always.
  14. Good win for the Eagles. BA has a tendency to be sluggish coming out of an off week. Tyree Ford was outstanding and the defensive front kept pressure on Parks all night. Secondary maintained good coverage. MBA next week will be interesting. As Father Ryan found out tonight you can never count out the Big Red.
  15. congrats on a big-time come from behind win.
  16. Amen! Coach Flatt has got to show some confidence in his QB and not be so quick on the trigger. As good as the defense looked last week, they were 180 degrees out of phase tonight.
  17. Its called tax dollars. Since I pay property taxes in Williamson County and Brentwood (in addition to the tuition I pay at BA), I guess I'm helping to provide financial assistance to your athletes.
  18. BA has a number of offensive weapons this year. Chris Jordan and Ryan White both looked strong in the backfield. Tyree Ford only had two carries and spent the bulk of his playing time at cornerback (2 picks tonight). Caffee had a 60 yard TD run off a Qback draw. Offense looked sharp and defense was dominant. Manual scored with under a minute in the 4th against 3rd team. There is still a lot of football to be played but BA looked very impressive tonight with very few mistakes.
  19. Do you mean DC's field? The game was at BA.
  20. Did Cordell take any snaps at QB?
  21. Transfer from Texas. He is a senior with a good arm, size and decent speed.
  22. 2 TD passes to Kottas and made some plays with his legs. Overall a good first outing.
  23. That's the real game summary. The transfer from Georgia as well as Tyree and Ryan White did not play last night. In spite of the absence of the first team backfield, the running game looked good.
