Ray.....I totally agree......The kids a great shooter.Im sure she will have her time in the spotlight next year. Having all the pieces is what makes MW such a good team. Thanks for helping me during my senior moment!

Hey Jazzy It was a pleasure meeting you last summer! Thank you for the kind words!! I know in the heat of competition sometimes we forget there are great kids playing this sport we love from one end of the state to another. The 2010 kids from across the sate will always hold a special place in my memory. The coaches and parents we have met from other organizations were almost always a delight to get to know......(notice i said almost always!.lol) I hope your daughter has a great senior season!

Totally agree I have had the honor of getting to know these young ladys over the years and you cant find better !!!! I unfortunately dont know Sidney but have heard great things about her. Shannon and her family will always be special to me. Heck....I was afraid of Newport before the Depews,Budas and Sparks taught me what amazing people they have! Taylor is quiet.....but dont let that fool you....she has a delightful sense of humour and really a good kid!.....Ill stop gushing now...but the IMAC has been blessed with outstanding basketball players. We talk about 3 but leave so many out. Morgan Buda....Outstanding!!! And headed for Pre Med? Samantha Hale,Casey Cowen,Shay Brown, Im leaving out one of the outstanding shooters at MW because the name escapes me at the moment. Ive seen the experts say the class of 2010 was down on a national level. They need to look again....We may not be filling the rosters of NC,UCONN,UT,etc but we sure are sending quality young people off to places of higher learning that appreciate them!

Look guys....I apologize for the harsh wannabe statement....But ive heard this all before from other teams and other programs.....Its always the same.Im not going to down a player or players in a public forum. You guys are probably parents so this will enrage you even more.Why would you need someone to motivate you to work hard ,play hard, or even to understand the sets they are running? The panic always starts with the parents first.....Been there myself. I know your emotions are running high right now and the natural thing to do is attack and ask for sudden change..Thats not how life works(had to find this out the hard way too) Relax....See what happens 2 or 3 weeks down the road. The game of basketball still involves passing dribbling and shooting and Coach O hasnt forgotten any of the game.I dont excpect you to change your minds or even back off of Coach O and I know my words will fall on ears stopped up by rage. Im no expert by any stretch of the imagination.....but i know what i know. Rob

OK everyone can lay off my girls now...lol.....Morgan and Shannon had complete games against South Greene!!! Shannon had 23 points and 13 rebounds. Morgan had 13 points and 9 assists.neither were in foul trouble and battled hard .Morgans defensive effort was superb holding Dye to 7 points and 3 assists. Nice night on the hardwood ladys.

Hold the Bus!....Ive watched the comments and refrained from posting.....but the remark about Depew is so off base. To say Shannon plays without heart is complete crap. To average a double double is not the product of a player without heart. Ive seen Shannon in more big games aau and hs than most and no coach who she has played for or a coach that has coached against her would agree with you.

I was hoping someone would mention Morgan.After reading some some threads from summer clubs self promotion disguised as congrats for a player I decided not to name kids that played for us. That being said teams that would dismiss or take Morgans abilities for granted will be doing so in error Morgan didnt play summer ball this year..She hasnt quit or forgotten how to dribble or shoot.....She hasnt lost any of that tremendous quickness. You dont achieve all district for 3 years because you cant play the game.Sorry for the venting i thought Morgan was being overlooked a little.

According to the story in the Knoxville News-Sentinel this morning, the win could be "vacated", which would mean that Clinton would lose credit for the win, but the game would not be forfeited. Halls would still have the loss in its record. Wow What rocket scientist came up with the concept of vacated. If I were a Halls fan id be P.O.
