According to a local TV news report (11:00 p.m.) Matt Eads was injured in a game earlier this season and would be having surgery. His status for the game with Elizabethton would be left up to his parents and doctors, according to Sull. East's head coach. I will keep Matt Eads in my prayers and wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Dist1-AAA is tough from top to bottom. Great pitching (way to go Whit & AW!) and solid defense are seen from most of the 7 teams in this district. Every team has one or two hitters that are big sticks and have to be dealt with carefully. illpete23 I've enjoyed your posts - good stuff.
