I am not going to predict what I think the score will be because from what I can understand Boyd is pretty good. It will be a very well played close game and the best team will win.

I did not say that Boyd was not a good football team. Obviously they are the two best teams in 1A. I do not think it will be a blowout but it will be a very interesting game to watch. Yes DCA has two very good players out right now, but both of them have a very strong will to play and I would not be surprised to see them play Friday. I am just trying to say that most of the teams out east do not play any real powerhouses. For instance everyone said Cloudland was unbeatable and they were put out the first round. Im not saying just because Boyd is from the east they are going to lose. I am saying that I dont think Boyd has played the teams DCA has and it could hurt them in the big game.

Boyd Buchanan is a good football team, but they have not even been close to playing the type of teams in region 5. Every team in that region is tough and Boyd has not played anyone in the east that matches up with anyone in that region. I heard that SP was not as good as everyone made them out to be. I will pick DCA by 10 or more because of the competition they have faced. Even with Wooden out DCA still has a good running game. DCA will not play a team any harder than in region 5.

I would not rule Ezell out just yet. They have been improving and learning from their mistakes. They have also changed a lot of their scheme from what I can understand. I would not be shocked to see them make a run for the title. They have had several bad weeks and have not been playing their best football. I hear that they are starting to come on strong heading into the playoffs.

Although the teams in east tennessee are undefeated, they usually do not have any real big competition until the playoffs and they are not prepared because they have not played anyone with real good talent. I expect someone from region 5 to take it all again. I would look for DCA or Ezell to take it this year. Even though DCA beat Ezell, Ezell played their worst game I have ever seen them play since I have been watching them play for the last three years. I am not taking anything away from DCA because they are a good football team, buit I think next time these to teams meet it will be a lot closer game if Ezell plays the way I know they can.

I think Ezell will be ready for the game. I think if they think about how they ended their season last year, then they will be fired up and they will want to get revenge on CPA. I would look for it to be a defensive game because I know Ezell can score and I am pretty sure that CPA will score. Which ever team has the best defensive game will win.

Does ezell harding have a chance to make it there this year?

Ezell did not play a very good game. At the middle of the third quarter they started to make some subs in at different positions on defense. Ezell did not play quite up to their potential. If they would have played the way they did against Goodpasture it would not have even been close.

I want to know everyones opinion about who they think will have a shot at the title this year so far from what they have seen. Who are a few teams that will have the best shot at it this year.

Ezell was missing several players due to soccer. I think that it would have been a more competitive game if all of their starters would have been there. I am not saying that the outcome of the game would have changed, but it probaby would not have been as bad.

Highschoolfan you are right, Schlappi is not 6'0'' 155. He is 6'2'' 197 to be exact. I don't know who is telling you lies about ezell's players. Have you ever met Schlappi, and if you have, how do you know how tall he is.

I don't know why people keep on comparing Ezell to everyone else that they will probably never even play. How about we just see how ezell does and then everyone can compare them to other teams. But until then I would not keep on saying how each team they will play will run over them.

From what I heard I don't think they did that great at all. I heard they were needing some help at some of their skill positions. But that is what I heard I don't know.

Ezell is going to be pretty good this year and your are right they do not have all of the "good" players that they have had in the past. But they do have a group of hard working , willing, and determined seniors moving up. Some of them are even going to play college ball.

Tigercatchr I would like to know who we have been bringing into ezell the past five years? When you learn how to spell right then you can start talking about other teams. Antoine came to ezell in the sixth grade to be exact. Do you think that we go to these youth football games and offer 5 and 6 year old kids scholarships to go to ezell. I wish I could go to a youth football game and watch a kid score 25 touchdowns and give him a scholarship to come to a private school. Please give the list of names of WHO YOU THINK we recruited and work on your spelling while you get the list. :justwrestle:

I agree with scrappy. Goodpasture does look better but I have never known Ezell to back down from anybody. I will not give an opinion on the Ezell-Lipscomb game because I have not heard or seen anything from them. But I would not be surprised if Ezell did beat Goodpasture. After all Ezell has pulled off some pretty impressive wins over teams no one thought they could pull off over the last few years.

Everyone out there thinks that ezell recruits players.All of the players that ezell had had been there since they were in kindergarten. Does everyone think ezell recruits people in the first grade? Like I said sportcaster, those 2a teams do not matter to the schedule. I am not saying ezell will go all the way either. If they get into the playoffs, I think they will do pretty good.

To all of you out there who think that ezell harding will not be able to compete with other teams like Goodpasture and Lipscomb, we will see this upcoming fall. J Gettis will be all over the field and he is not the only good receiver ezell has. Those 2A teams do not really matter to the schedule as long as ezell gets into the playoffs they will go a long way. As for Sportcaster, you know a lot about other teams, I am just wondering if you play football? why don't you call ezell for a scrimmage and then see who is still talking. P.S. Coach Smith is still the best coach in the state of Tennessee
