Livingston Academy does not have any seniors as of right now, Eldridge quit during the Jaycees Tourney. Matt Reeder, junior, is 6'4. That is probably who you were talking about, who did happen to have a very good game.

Jimbo44,exactly how do you know who next's years starters may be? Any of the 10 in my opinion may be starting....whoever wants it the worst..and I do believe there are a few that want it, if given the opportunity to prove themselves. Maybe the 5 playing the last few minutes are next years starters....but......don't overlook the others sitting on the bench that are as capable as "next years starters."

Brentwood Academy has a very good basketball team. It doesn't matter whether you were a starter or not,even the subs hustled their hearts out.I wish we had girls and boys teams more like them here in Livingston and the surrounding counties. As for Pickett County, they also hustle,but I don't believe they have a chance beating BA.Good luck to all the teams.

Not only did it sound ugly, it looked ugly. Pickett Co. have a great boys team that are quick and can hit from anywhere on the floor. Livingston never gave up though,they just had a bad night,couln't get anything to fall. Coach Bibbs has a great team, but I knew he would.

I understand what you are saying,wannab,but I also feel like the coaching staff is just as important as the players. Why I say this,look what Jackson County has done in the last five years and what kind of grade school teams did they have? It takes a great coaching staff to take the girls to the next level. That is why I feel Livingston Academy's freshman team will continue to excel. York has yet to prove that they can continue to win at the next level. But that's what makes basketball so exciting...

WannaBLikeBeech......Give the freshman girls at Livingston Academy a few more years and we will see how they develop. I expect them to have as good a team or better than this years......Just my opinion!
