  1. Hank Thompson lost his battle with cancer today. He was a long time Middle Tennessee Basketball official and a supervisor for about the last 20 years. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. Hank was a great man and his leadership will be missed by the TSSAA.
  2. It is a sad day for Middle Tennessee basketball officials association. We lost one of our supervisors and a great friend to TSSAA and basketball state wide. He officiated for several years and has been a supervisor for about 20 years. Please keep his family in your prayers. Hank Thompson was a great man.
  3. The Hendersonville Park is one of the best in the state. You did not mention how the staff works from about 10:00 p.m. until 3-4 in the morning picking up trash, cleaning, lining the fields, dragging the fields. Some of it could be a communication issue with the tournament director and the parks. The umpires have nothing to do with the city and would be the same no matter where they were played. Some came as far away as Arkansas. The parks staff and city do a great job and don't deserve to be bashed by you. Sounds like you must have lost in the finals or something.
  4. Can anyone give me a street address to the park. All of the parents now have a GPS and we must provide them with the street address. I miss the days of rotary phones and .30 cent per gallon gas. Andy Griffin

The players, coaches and parents of Hendersonville High School would like to wish you a speedy recovery. We were in Florida when we heard the bad news and really feel for you and the team. You always did a great job on the field and played with a lot of class. If there is anything we can do to help just let us know. Andy Griffin Hendersonville High School
  6. The Hendersonvillle High School softball team and boosters will be praying for her Family. She was a great young lady and touched many people during her time here on earth.
  7. Antioch and Hillwood both dropped out late and I thought that White House Heritage was going to take the place of Antioch. They called today and they are not going to be able to play. I have changed the brackets so much my pencil is wearing out. I have a spot in a pool for Friday and Saturday to take the spot of Antioch if anyone would like to take it. Game times are at 3:30 and 5:00 and it is a pool with Gallatin, White County, and Livingston. If anyone would like to play for free let me know today or tomorrow and I will put you in, if not I am going to just go with what we have. The date is Friday March 14th and Saturday March 15th. Single elimination starts at 12:00 on Saturday. Coach Griffin 615-604-6688 griffina@k12tn.net
  8. White House is playing Lincoln County in a varsity game and then a JV game. It is correct.

  11. The Hendersonville High School softball players, parents and coaches will be praying for Kayla and her family. I told the girls today and several of them had played with her and were very upset at the news. She must really be a special person to have touched as many people in a short time. We will be thinking of her and her family.
