  1. I like the Strength and Success Rankings but they are only as accurate as the data that they are ranking. Until all the schools put in there entire schedule this kind of ranking is not complete. I also do not think that it includes out of state teams that you play which could make a difference also. I would like to see the schools in Tennessee use CoachT to its fullest. If everyone maintained there schedule to make it accurate these rankings would be better.
  2. Jonathan Cook of Chattanooga Christian School has scored 1,000 and is about to go over the 2,000 point total.
  3. Does anyone know of any softball tournaments that will be held the weekend of April 30 and May 1. Thanks
  4. Chattanooga Christian defeated Howard 37 - 34 on a three pointer at the buzzer. This was a very exciting game. CCS held Howard to under 10 points in 3 of the 4 quarters. [Edited by buck59 on 2-15-03 12:10P]
  5. Dandy I think this is a great starting point for some dialoge on how we can work together to prevent a split. I do not think that everyone is thinking of negatives that will come out of a split, ex - travel expense for schools. It has points for both private and public schools that have students from out side of their bounderies. A lot of the talk on this message board is about football but everyone has to think about how this will impact other sports as well.
  6. I agree. I know of states that have evaluations from the coaches after every game and it seems to work pretty well. With this kind of system if an official constantly gets low ratings something can be done. I think TSSAA should impliment so sort of evaluation system.
  7. hhscats it is not the public school division. The divisions are Division I and Division II. It never was the intent of TSSAA to seperate the schools public/private. Their intent was to seperate the school by giving finacial aid to athletes and not giving finacial aid to athletes. The privatle schools that compete in Division I do not give any financial aid the the students that participate in athletics. These athletes parents pay the full tuition bill for these students to go the that school.
