How do you know Nunley would not have fumbled the game away? He is a good player but you do not know what kind of game he would have had. Maybe if Tullahoma's injured would have been healthy they would have blown out the Rebels? FC had the whole game to show they had a better team and could not get the job done. Time to get ready for that power house on the schedule next week. Tullahoma made adjustments at the half and FC could not counter is what I heard from coaches scouting the game.

Eventhough Riverdale is a very good football team, they will need their 'A' game to have a chance againt Maryville. From what I am told, ( from reliable sources ) Maryville is a very solid football team. Two good teams, Maryville wins by 14.

Wildcatdude....I'm sure the coaching staff could use an expert offensive mind like yours. Contact the head coach and see if he will make you a member of his staff. If you do not want to take a pay cut, be a volunteer. Or, if the play calling bothers you too much, become a Rebeldude or Raiderdude or Eagledude. Tullahoma has a solid, consistant program that most schools in the area would love to have even if they don't win a championship every year.

Who would believe the reasoning that was given on the radio show? ( CC maybe ). I would think CC had more players that could have been put in the game. I would say it was to hold the score down. I will give the coach credit, this is a new tactic and I have never heard of this before, but unfortunately, this is the wrong signal for the players and program. You cannot rationalize this decision.

So 85% of Tullahoma's wins since '93 were against teams with less than .500 winning percentage? I doubt this is true. I do think it is to Tullahoma's disadvantage that the quality of good teams is lacking in that part of the mid-state. Lincoln Co is down, Franklin Co has not been very good for a long time. Coffee Co and Warren Co...well......These teams are scheduled for revenue and past history. They will not help you get prepared for the playoffs. Centennial is a good team that was made better by the competition from their district and schedule. Normally, I don't think Centennial is 24 points better than Tullahoma but they were Friday night, which is all that counts. Community schools like Tullahoma, Shelbyville, etc and mid-state county schools will have a difficult time competing with Rutherford and Williamson Co. teams on a consistant basis. Tullahoma has a good coach, nice facilities, great support and a competitive program. This makes the 'have nots' jelious and envious. Even if they can't call plays!!!!!!!!!

Columbia would not finish last in the "wilco" league now. I would think it would be a good match up w/ Franklin for the championship. In regards to the Baylor game, I give Columbia a small chance to win this game. Baylor wins........

The sewer system of Tennessee ( Memphis ) will not address this behavior, it's not politically correct. It's their culture and goes along with everything else in that city. BTW, the T$$AA will not do anything either.

I think they will be challenged in their new classification. I did find the decision to play up to 4A.....interesting. Do they think the road to the Championship will be easier than 3A? Of course they think 4A will be easier.

The reason this system is in place is because of all the complaints about the old system. People wanted change and they got it. The T$$AA will not go back to 5 classifications, it's all about money. I agree with someone on here that 6A and 5A should not be in the same district. The districts should be made up of teams in the same classification and if a 5A wants to schedule a 6A in regular season for gate revenue, it's their choice but it should not be a district game. The playoff system as is will need to changed though. If not, as stated earlier, some teams will have a hard time scheduling teams to play.

Riverdale is a dangerous team for anyone to play. They may not be the favorite, but they can beat anyone still in the playoffs. RD is my pick this Friday to win over OR and move on to the next round.
