I would hope no RB administrators attended soccer games because if they do and they do nothing pertaining to these referenced incidents, the RB community has big problems on their hands. Then again, maybe they have known about these issues and would prefer to take the "politically correct" approach and do nothing because they don't want to offend anybody.

Your umpires need to know the rules or don`t be on the field! Balls and strikes and safe or out are one thing but 2 umpires not having a clue on a not so hard call is a joke. Why do you think HHS has done well and in your opinion who is the better coach ---Blade or Coach A? Who had the better staff? They are both good coaches. Why split hairs?

Lawrence Co. is my tourn. favorite. they are the best hitting team in 8AAA. Lincoln Co. is my pick for 2nd place. CC could slip in there and you never know about Columbia. Tull. could be a spoiler to upset someone if the top teams are not ready to play although Tull has weak pitching. Anyhow, these teams do not match up well with 7AAA. 7AAA should advance. But you never know when it comes down to one baseball game on a given night. Anything can happen.

Neither team is definitvely better than the other team Beech is the better team overall...........Grey is the equalizer. Grey gives Smyrna a chance to win against anyone on a given night although he is not unbeatable.

6-6 300lbs Slade Adams should answer any question, also the Starks. Big is not the answer. If he can't get out his stance, he will not be effective. Coffee County has a kid bigger than that and he couldn't block anybody.

MJ has a good looking bunch of athletes, especially at skill position. Like someone mentioned earlier, got to have blocking.

There is a lot of time between now and fall practice. If I were a betting man, I would bet that Coach Flatt will not be coaching at Eagleville this fall based on past history. I reserve the right to be wrong though.

I asked someone in Tull who I have known for a long time and is heavily involved within the city about the state of the parks, athletic fields, etc. I had noticed a decline in the football field that was second to none within the HS ranks. His statement was that the it boils down to the lack of interest or involvement within city council to manage or oversee the Rec dept that has taken advantage of the situation for a long time. I do remember when Tull facilities were the best around and that wasn't that long ago. Football and baseball fields were outstanding. Now, alot of area programs have passed them by.

Tullahoma seems to have that Williamson Co. situation...upper/middle class families, white collar players, plenty of money, good coaches, but a school system that is not committed to the football program. They are just as concerned with girls soccer and having boys lacrose (non-income sports) than they are with football. Is this pretty accurate? I would say pretty accurate. I know that Tull is one of the top academic school systems in the state along with Williamson Co. school system and one of the reasons they are is because people with academic focus are in the position to call the shots. I strongly believe that for kids wanting to participate in sports, athletics and other extra curricular activities is an important part of the high school experience and can educate kids in areas for future growth outside of the classroom. Many ( most ) administrators do not share these views. Also, most parents, students and supporters focus on their activities and are moving away from the collective school spirit and support. Jelousy is also a factor...........I see it everywhere and it is not confined to white collar areas.

does anybody know whats going on at tullahoma because they are losing coaches right and left Baseball coach goes to administration.........career move I guess. FB line coach becomes Off Coordinator and is also from E. Tenn.........career move BB coach fired.............not that uncommon especially when people like you run the program down on this board and I'm sure in your town. Looks like normal attrition to me.

Jon Dalton, All-State catcher from Rutledge, is going to Walters State...the rich get richer Thats the way it usually works...................WS reloads... the coach has developed a strong program.

A couple of years ago WH had a player that hit with power and was highly touted. I think he played 1B or catcher. Anyhow, is he still playing baseball?

Can someone post the new each divisions members? Did I see that there are two divisions in the large classification?

Let's take a look @ each game: Hillsboro: good team with a good coach McCallie: they will not be the same team as this past season. They lost Coleman along with some other good players and Potter went to Brentwood Academy. No where near the team they have been the last 2 seasons. Ravenwood: They do not have the same athletes as the past two years but they have a great coaching staff. I look for them to be strong in the region McGavock: Very weak Indepedence: Lost their coach but still have some very strong athletes Brentwood: good coaching and the talent level should be better than last season Northeast: Very weak Columbia: Very weak/when was the last time Columbia went deep in the playoffs Dickson: average team @ best Centennial: they have some athletes but with a new coaching staff it will take some time to get things done Good evaluation of schedule..............as for Columbia, historically a town with many athletes but have never sustained a successful football program ( since the 60's anyway )
