  1. Now after seein Watertown and RBS, does anyone have any more predictions on HS vs Watertown?
  2. There might be a couple coaches that are better or had more success but I do think there are more in 7a that are considerably worse. Yes he has had talent but until your around those kids personally you never know how easily it is to coach them.
  3. Nice post duke. Nativebuff has no clue. Must be somethin personal. The last few years records are certainly better than 98-00.
  4. Should have been an easy decision for your hall of fame coach to double team the outside shooters huh? I believe after they hit about 5 that would have been my call. But hey, you guys did stop their post players!!!! Thats all you can say is "I sound like a kid".
  5. kaeXo, kaeXo, kaeXo I knew there had to be some excuse coming.... Lights out, are you kidding, there was only 58 points put on the scoreboard. Thats good but I wouldn't call it lights out. PLEASE, someone from VB post the shot percentages from this game. I'm getting tired of this guy's excuses. Truth be known I bet the %'s are just average... And the comment about Clay, they'll be you by 39.
  6. Nativebuff, when did your son graduate??
  7. Are you talkin district or overall nativebuff? Coach Rogers always wants to play a tuff schedule to get his girls ready to compete for regions and states and that sometimes means that they schedule tough teams and usually AA and some AAA teams. Thats great for him but not so great for the boys team. The girls, for the most part, have talent come in year in and year out but for the boys it hasn't been the case in the last couple years. Say what you want about the boys coach and their records over the years but believe me you have no idea as to some things he has put up with... If you have a decent girls team you can compete with AA and some AAA but its different with boys IMO. I think the schedule(usually who Coach Rogers wants to play) hurts the boys record every year.......
  8. Uh yeah, we're all jealous he got that job. Dogonnit!,I wanted to move to HS and coach that powerhouse....
  9. Nah.. Kinda hard for people not to know you I guess swanson. Half your names in you post name and other posters call out your first. Your always up front though I'll give you that, even if people do know who you are... Just know you used to catch for RBS. Gave it your all the couple times I saw you play....
  10. However old i am, this season is going to add 10 yrs to my life!! You two name callers!!
  11. Not a bad resume. How in the world did he end up in HS. With that kind of success did no one else want him?? Sounds like you either really like the guy or really really like him. Can he throw his trash out the back door without hitting you in the face? Maybe you got hired to write this guys biography at HS..... Oh yeah, by the looks of you Im about 6-8 yrs older...
  12. All we are hearing is how great this new coach is... Where did he come from? What has he done at other schools? You would think this guy has brain washed you all(HS fans) from the way people talk on here.
  13. Are you serious Armynurse? They went to the state tournament. Clay was loaded and still is and you say Bibb just done what the parents wanted, shows what you know. And you think Bobby Knight is coaching HS cause they beat the school for the blind. I can't wait til mid way thru the season. Yeah I think I'd shoot for the district instead of state too, your ridiculous.....
  14. Sofine, your posts are excellent. You sound like you know your stuff. Doing good things for the profession. Keep up the good work......
  15. Sofine took the words right out of my mouth. Absolutely CORRECT!!
  16. I've heard countless studies done by top college/professional athletic trainers, PT's, and orthos and none of them (that I have heard) lean towards mentral periods being a factor causing injury. Q angel(measurement of femur related to tibia depending on width of hips) and ACL notch are believed to be the primary factors leading to ACL injury.. Womens hips are widder due to child birthing thus increasing Q angle. Women also have a smaller grove for the ACL to travel thru, noticably smaller than men. I also believe that weak quads are a primary injury factor if not the leading injury causing factor to ACL injuries. Plain and simple, girls do not do enough plyo's and quad strengthening.
  17. Muffin, we could be the next Abbot and Castello(sp)!!!!!!
  18. Ok, a couple posts ago you said the guy was 6'7" or 6'8", now he's 6'9". By tomorrow this guy will be Yao Ming!!!!
  19. I could get five blind guys off the street and beat Merrol Hyde.....
