We play Whitehaven in all sports are the games are very competitive. We have a few basketball victories but none in football. They have 120 players are we have 50. Their enrollment is 1800 and ours is 500

KIPP has athletes. In Memphis a few charters like KIPP MAHS and City University are very competive. Mitchell really gets the players that Whitehaven turn down on our side.

I agree. Every year we practice at the University of Memphis before we leave and at Tennessee State University while we are there.

This is the State Tournament and everyone can play.

If they are in same region once one of the teams are selected the other team automatically is placed in the opposite bracket.

That is not correct unless it has changed. Two teams from same region cannot meet until title game.

Mitchell is only concerned about our first round opponent.

First that UC fan base is the best I have seen. Stewart is a baller . He has no help on that team. Not to down UC but they need a PG very bad. Like last year making Deberry play point it is killing PS. Man this kid will be a much better college player than high school. In the 4th we we trapped and took the ball out of his hands. Coach Turner knew that Sisco was no threat to score at all so the guarding him was used to trap PS. I was impressed with PS because he really carried them. He is a Div player. As for Ollison this kid can stroke it and has scary hops. The reverse dunk was showtime tonight. This team loves playing defense. The 4th Qtr lock down was nothing new go us. The points they scored was on a lucky tip in. At Mitchell you will get snatched for missing a defensive assignment before missing a layup.

I think the difference between 16A and 15A teams is the basketball players vs athletes. In Memphis they play BBL year round. Our best player plays BBL only. Watching the TCA / BTW game it was obvious. Another reason is the guard play in Memphis. I watched 3 15A teams during the regional and the only guard that was on Mitchell/BTW level was number 11 from Jackson Christian. He would get minutes at either school. TCA is a good program but to move to a top program they must prove they can win in post season away from home. I believe MAHS would defeat them in Memphis. They gave BTW all they wanted this year. One great thing about TCA is the coach. He does a great job of adjusting except for playing BTW man to man the other night. He runs some nice sets. As for the other teams is west TN UC size hurt them last year. Their guards had post size and their posts had guards size. Monday night will be 2 battles in Halls and Memphis. All 4 teams are good. Stock 68 and TCA Intense this will not be a 20 point game.

20 points, whatever. This is not the we had last year. UCLA has too much pride and want revenge from the last two years.

The last 2 years I have been very impressed with Hampton. Next to Goodpasture they gave us our closest game in the tournament. They are well coached and play very hard.

Last year they set brackets. It was because of bad weather and teams not traveling. I prayed it would remain that way. The top 2 teams were in opposite brackets and met in title game.

No two teams from the same region are placed in opposite brackets. They can't meet til finals

Tuesday will be very interesting.

Into you are correct but BTW will have to earn it. If Halls play them man to man they will have a long night. As for Mitchell UC is playing with no pressure and that scares me. They are well coached and Stewart is big time. We have our work cut out for us.
