  1. I ain't saying Clay County is going to win but I would not count them out. Let's not forget they destroyed a very good 2A team in York (44-14) who made it to the 2A State Semifinals last night. Coalfield was down 40-13 until 3 straight turnovers gave them life. Clay also had 10 penalties for almost 100 yards. Mackenzie is the favorite but with a neutral field and gold on the line, crazier things have happen. I expect a good game either way.
  2. Agreed 16 per class/48 total teams isnt feasible at MTSU. It would take a full week just to complete one class instead of 4 days for all 3. The schools and state wouldn't allow for that much time to be missed of class or be willing to add that much time to the end of the school year just for sports. As the days from the state tournament have to be made up and snow days etc can't replace them. Maybe if they made each class at a different location and run them concurrent then maybe but that isn't going to happen.
  3. I can't put East over Hamilton Heights for the fact that Heights beat them by 8. East def. can beat HH but I don't see them as the clear cut favorite. If we aren't talking about classification teams then Heights has the advantage for obvious reasons.
  4. I do know of 1 offer with others who have contacted after the state tournament and that's Western Kentucky University. He has signed so any undeclare would require him to be released from ISU to play for another school this year.
  5. Liberty now that's a name I haven't heard around in awhile. They fell off a cliff since the 2010-11-12 seasons when they battled Mitchell in AA.
  6. It's ok we all go full Hyperquick one time in our life. I forgive you. Just remember crayons are not meant for eating.
  7. 47 total fouls called in the A state championship. Absolutely insane! I know 4 Harriman starters and 3-4 of Clay's had 4 fouls a piece. 47 fouls 12+ charges 10+ walks
  8. Seasons over and still making stupid predictions. BA destroyed Independence and Indy also lost to GCA. Didn't you say single A had no competition but want to say a AAA team that lost to a single A team is a top 5 team in the state overall. What a joke! You literally contradict everything you say. Oak Ridge would lose 7/10 vs BA or 4-1 in a 7 game series and Cordova is a top 5 team hands down. 1) Memphis East 2) Brentwood Academy 3) Southwind 4) Oak Ridge 5) Cordova I would give it 60/40% East over BA for the #1 spot and 4/5 could go either way but Southwind is the solid 3 choice.
  9. Doesn't mean much but didn't BA beat East over the summer?
  10. http://www.tribstar.com/sports/local_college_sports/isu_sports/tyreke-b-goode-isu-recruit-answers-questions-with-breakout-performance/article_3a358a15-5845-548b-a932-4a622ae7b3f9.html Best article I have read in a long time and with that I am done with CoachT until next season. Congrats again to Harriman, you guys earned the W!
  11. Just going by what they announced during the awards ceremony. Are you looking at the state tournament records or season records? Because from what I gathered 4 were State Tournament records and 1 was the all time single season record which is what I stated 🤔.
  12. Agree completely. Lawson which is the kid I think you are talking about is probably the best player in the state due to his overall size and ability. I do think without a doubt Key would have had huge offers if he played at a much bigger school. As a matter of fact he has actually received other offers that he previously didn't have since his state performance.
  13. Still beat GCA and took home hardware. Enjoy DIV II next year bud. 😙 You guys could never get by little bitty public schools (Van Buren & Clay) so I'm sure Harriman will let you guys give the gold ball a shine and take a picture with it every now and then.
  14. Yes sir. First MVP on a losing team since the 80s and has only happen 1 other time. 54 pts 34 pts 40 pts Broke 5 state records - Most points in a state tournament quarter, half, and game. Most total points ever in the state tournament and broke Tony Delks all time single season record. As usual he done it with class. I wish him nothing but the best. Congrats young man!
