Yea they did cuz they didnt have ne utility players to come in for certain guys that could have pitched. The defense would have been weak in certain spots. The addition of Tyler Guye helps out tremendously cuz he can be that utility player, he can play ne where in the field and play it very well. I think sycamore's pitchers will be BJ, Corey Carrigan, Kyle Quillen, Jase, and Tyler Guye. All these guys can rotate positions and pitching. I also might be leaving out some guys that can pitch some relief.

Mont. Central wont win the district. I believe the team to beat this year will be Sycamore. They are solid at every position and their pitching staff is deeper than people know cuz they had some young guys that could pitch last year but didnt cuz they didnt need them and the coaches are real big on saving the young guys arms and wanting them to have a long future in baseball.

I think he just said harpeth and sycamore because the radio station is in cheatham co.

Didnt Bolivar lose to Haywood twice? Once by 20 points. I think so, and Sycamore beat them this year without their best player for most of the game. Sycamore can play with the speed of anybody in that district except for Liberty.

He wouldnt win freshman of the year if Oden was playin or not, cuz Durant from Texas is the best freshman and best player in college.

I dont think i said Harpeth would lay down. I just said Sycamore is playin the best ball right now, and right now they are the better basketball team.

I saw the Cheatham/Harpeth game and i wasnt to impressed with Harpeth. They didnt play defense in the first half and let Cheatham just drive to the basket. It looked like the only ones that wanted to win was Trey and Newton. They really didnt do that well on the offense side of the ball either, they did get a lot of second chance points though. I just think Sycamore is playin the best ball out of both teams righ now, and i see them beatin Harpeth. Harpeth had a tough time scorin on Cheatham's defense, how are they goin to score on Sycamore's? But the best thing about Friday's game is that both teams are healthy and there cant be ne excuse for either team for who was out or not 100%. Sycamore 56 Harpeth 48

The loss for Harpeth did not change ne thing for next Fridays game against Sycamore. Reguardless Sycamore has to win the game Friday. Harpeth has two losses in the district and if they beat Sycamore they both have two losses and the tie breaker goes to Harpeth cuz they would have beaten Sycamore twice. If Harpeth won tonight, of course Sycamore would have to win, cuz the loser would have two losses and the winner with only one. So what im tryin to prove is that the Cheatham game didnt even matter to the standings, for Harpeth that is.

Does ne body know if the Sycamore/Waverly game is still on for Friday? I know Waverly has been out of school due to sickness.

So since SC won a game, they are now good? Sorry but beating Cheatham isnt ne thing to great. Cheatham has been really struggling the past couple of weeks. I still see SC losing in the first round of the districts. And for the last time Jake West is not an all around player. He cant play defense and he cant handle the ball that well, he is just a scorer. Im not saying he is a bad player, but saying he is all around is pushin it. By the way Sycamore lost to Gallatin by like 8. I heard they jumped out on Gallatin and was even up by 20 at one time in the first half. Gallatin slowly kept trimming the lead down and was only down 6 in the 4th qtr. and then gained the lead and then the win. Somebody said that Sycamore shouldnt hold their head down on this one cuz from what i hear Gallatin is like in the top 10 in AAA. But Sycamore should have won this game from what i hear, but it helps them gain confidence against pressure defense and takin care of the ball.

Yea Sycamore won big last night over Mont. Central. The game was over from the start. Sycamore was already up by 20 at the end of the first qtr. Sycamore played their usual defense and locked down on the horrible Mont. Central's players. Everybody had a good game for Sycamore, they really shot the ball really well. The best thing to see is John Kinman improving every night, as he got another dunk, and was hittin the boards really well. Sycamore has a bye on tuesday in the district and plays gallatin, and then plays waverly on friday.

You cant have Baker on ur list, he hasnt played enough games to be up for MVP, but his stock can rise towards the end of the season. And how can you say West brings it on both sides of the court? Stewart plays zone, and when they played against Sycamore they scored majority of thier points on his side of it. I would say Newton or Giltner for now, but i think if Sycamore passes them in the standings look for Lohin to be in the front, cuz right now he is playin his best ball. Who else does Harpeth have left in the district? I know Sycamore has the bottom of the district left. The last game between Sycamore and Harpeth will be one of the best games in this districts history, cuz its two great teams, the number one spot will be on the line, and oh its one of the biggest rivals in tennessee.

Sycamore beat Creekwood tonight by like 10 or 11, im not sure bout the score. Sycamore came out strong in the beginning of the game and had bout a 13-15 point lead. They seem to slack off in the second half and Creekwood cut to it to 9 but Sycamore hit a couple of free throws. But the defense was the key again to Sycamore's victory tonight. Their next game is friday at home against Mont. Central, which will be a blow out.

I really dont remember them gettin beat down in the playoffs. but besides that point, he was out with an ankle injury he got in the Cheatham game. But thanks for showin that ur a jackass.

Just like the Cheatham game i dont think the Sycamore/Creekwood game will be close. Sycamore is playin with too much confidence. They remember last time they played them and how they came out flat, and they almost lost the game, actually they should have. Im sure they will pressure Creekwood and create turnovers. Im not to sure, but i dont think Lohin played in the last game. Harpeth will drill Mont. Central. They will pressure the basketball and create turnovers. I see the game over with in the first half. Dunn will not do anything, cuz he is a head case, Harpeth's defense will make it hard on him, but the fans will have more effect on him than ne thing else. Stewart beats Waverly pretty bad cuz Stewart's zone takes away Waverly's best player, i dont know his name but he is the post player. Waverly really doesnt have ne shooters so they will struggle with scoring in that department. Oh and nobody on Waverly can guard Jake West.

Can you say Austin Lohin=Domination. Lohin played his best game of the year on both sides of the court. There was a time in the second half where he was seriously beatin Cheatham by himself. He had like a block 3 or 4 steals in a row and scored 8-10 points in like 2 min. Ive never seen ne thing like it. Not only did he play well, but Sycamore has a team played very well. Like i said in an earlier post, i said they would win on defense and they did, they shut Cheatham down. And big ups for John Kinman, his dunk in the first basically set the tone of the game.

Yea John might not use his height well, but nobody on cheatham can defend Pierre or Travis inside. Dont forget that Sycamore beat Cheatham without Lohin the whole second half of last game. Sycamore's defense will win this game and will win by more than people think.

West started out the game pretty good but tailed off towards the end. I think he had bout 12 or 14 in the first half, he had like 7 or 9 in the first qtr. But he had to work for evey point he got, i know 9 of his points came when Pierre was on the bench. Sycamore destroyed their zone, not by hittin 3's but just gettin it inside and driving in the lanes. Lohin did an awesome job of gettin in the lane and scorin, and Dempsy and Pierre did a good job of gettin the ball inside and scoring.
