Wow, it seems that reguardless of the sport being discussed, any CAK vs. Coalfield topics will be haunted by this controversy. Those of you Coalfield fans/players who still feel the need to debate it need to realize that it will do no good. Rather then arguing about if the play lasted 7 seconds or not, maybe you all should be proud that a Region 2 team made it to the semifinals?

I know you are an adult CY, let it go. We both know that clock keepers do not win and lose ballgames, its the players and coaches. Both teams played too well to spoil the victory by making outrageous claims like that, but if you are going to, why not blame the botched extra point with 1:30 to go, or the 15yd unsportsmanlike penalty on Coalfield on the final drive. The clock keeper did not make Cunnhingam throw a strike, or make Yoakley catch the ball and break tackles, or make the coalfield players miss tackles on Yoakley, it was the players. I said earlier in the above posts (you might go up about three or four) where I said CAK speculating about what might have been with the football players, was as me lame to me, as the football clock incident was to you guys. Then Coachlogan brings up the clock incident and states as fact speculation. Let the two play basketball. It will be a goog ballgame but I think the outcome will be the same, just not as much points between the two. As for spoiling your victory, I can't do that but it appears a conscience can. What are you implying?

It is not an excuse. I'm stating that with the addition of Cunningham, Park, and Parrish CAK is a better team. I was explaining why CAK is better now then they were when they lost to Coalfield, and why they deserve to be top 10. CAK vs. Coalfield will be a good ballgame.

The fact that CAK was still playing football was only mentioned to show that they were missing players when they lost to Coalfield. As far as getting back into the groove of basketball, it seemed as though they had never stopped playing. And like threeball said, CAK beat Rockwood, and played with Catholic.

CAK should be top 10, they lost to Coalfield while their football team was still in the playoffs, so they were missing 3 of their players. Their only other loss came to Catholic.
