I too was at that game and also very close to the "incident", I would like to give my take on the issue. I am a parent of a FRHS player and was sitting against the wall where our crowd had gathered. I would like to first say that the game was a fairly well played game, hard fought, very few fouls and went down to the last 10 minutes to decide a victor.
I have obviously read the posts on this issue and find agreement with some things said and disagreement with others. Was a parent "over the top", probably! Was he out of control, no! Did he sprint across the bleachers, he is too old to sprint. Was he in some ones face, no, he was about 2 rows away. Did he verbally taunt by saying "where is the siren", yes. Was the group taunted by the siren blown in their midst, yes, (it is a very annoying noise with or without a game involved). I am not sure but artificial noise makers at games may be against TSSAA rules due to possible interference with the game. In my view, this whole incident was a little "over the top" give and take in the stands by fans of their teams, nothing more and does not bring "disgrace" to anyone.
I do however wish to take issue with some other things that were posted - "real attitude" , "cursed at" and "crazy Catholics." I was on the track, behind both benches immediately after the game and did not witness any acts of "real attitude", I did not hear anyone being "cursed at " If someone overheard a player using off color language, I am sure it was not the first time they had heard similar language from their friends etc. All the conversations I heard at that time were very positive as in thanks for a good game and the hospitality(gym in the rain). As far as "Crazy Catholics" that gets pretty close to name calling but I will leave it alone.
One last thought, in most instances when bad things are written about youth sports the usual culprits are adults. Good Luck and have a great season.
