  1. I'm not sure where I was whining, especially as compared to the whining your bunch has about the refs. I guess your supposed to get every call or that means the refs have been paid off or something. I just pointed out for the AC girls benefit that they should have won this game, and I think knowing that will go along way for them next time. I hope they get the chance. Back to my rock.
  2. It's amazing how well all of you OS folks can type while patting yourselves on the back so hard. Bottom line is AC could and should have won this one. Merry Christmas, Happy Easter or something like that. Now our girls know they can beat you, I'm hoping we get another shot at you guys, and Toto too.
  3. Great effort by the whole team last night. T-Rodd would not let them lose in the fourth. Can't wait for tonights game with Oz.
  4. One of the poorest efforts by an AC team that I've seen in years. Not alot of energy or fight in these guys last night. AE looked confident and quick, a great team for sure, I just wish we had shown up for this one also. Congrats to the Roadrunners, and good luck the rest of the way.
  5. OK runner lets not even play the game then, you guys are just too good.
  6. I agree 100%, whoever does the best job of controlling tempo will win.
  7. There's alot more to running a successful team and program than just putting your five best athletes on the floor. If that's all it took then maybe you could coach a team to the state tourney playa04. The last time I heard about what a mistake it was for Coach Wright to "run off" a player was, let's see...., oh yeah, last year! Who turned out to have "sence " there? I guess 19-0 wasn't good enough, one loss and it's time to run the coach out of town huh? You are spoilled for great coaches at Fulton, and now it sounds like some of you are spoilled from success. I think you should just enjoy this time in your schools history, it won't last forever, it never does.
  8. Big regional battle on Thursday night at AC. I hear that AE is too quick for the Mavs, well we will see. As long as you can count by 3 you'll be quick enough. AC 74 AE 64
  9. ...and you never see Hopi and Clark Kent at the same time. Get a life EFG18! Anyone who has enough time to catalog other posters remarks, or even cares enough to look them up needs a job.
  10. Maybe the grass is greener in areas other than just on the hardwood.
  11. Josh Harrie was a man on the boards tonight! Congrats to the Mavs. Good luck to the talented Dragons.
  12. I think the key to the game this year, as it is every year with these two teams, is tempo. The Dragons try to force the tempo with their D, and the Mavs try to control the pace with deliberate offense to take Clinton out of their rhythm. Every year Eldridge wins the tempo battle, and Clinton may win, but they win playing AC's game, and I believe the Mavs have won 4 of the last 6 match-ups in this series. I believe they make it 5 of 7 tonight in a close one.
  13. I've always said there's nothing more important in basketball than a good composer, what with the national anthem and halftime and all. Wasn't Scott County named after Francis Scott Keyes? Anyway I hope you get to keep him too, I love the Arts, keep on supporting them you old Highlanders.
  14. And what orifice do you speak out of?
  15. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. Don't you ever have any fun along the way! Have a little guts, don't misunderstand, I don't comprehend why I need this repremand.
  16. I wonder, I why why why why wonder, why, a why why why why why, she ran away, and I wonder if she will stay. My little runaway. I wonder, ba ba-ba-ba ba ( who ) who wrote the book of love.
  17. Come on runner, you know that coach Wright and his Falcons have beaten you guys late in the season, and in the playoffs for years because of defense. You can argue alot of points for AE, but coach Mitchell a better defensive coach than coach Wright? No way.
  18. Thanks Hopi, A little perspective, in a Jim Carrey world!
  19. Hmmm.... Thugs or Prima Donas. I don't know who to pull for here.
  20. CoachT is wrong. Actual enrollment for classification purposes is in the lower 800's. The enrollment you're looking at includes the vocational center which by the way, bus loads of you Dragons come to everyday. Nice try though!
  21. Hey coachchannell, #1 Merry Christmas! #2 The funny thing about bulletin board material is that, if you need it for motivation or to play harder or better, then it's not going to help anyway. #3 I stand by T. Rodd being the best player in the district. Who's Better? She's 6'2", a terrific ball handler, great outside shooter at that height, and can be awfully physical underneath when she's in the mood. We just need her in the mood a little more. #4 I agree with you, learning to win is a hard thing to do. That was my point from the first match-up. OS knows how. AC is figuring it out. #5 Did I say Merry Christmas. Good luck to you guys. Boys and Girls.
  22. The old anyway you want to rule. Don't worry about right or wrong, or common decency, just do whatever you want to. Another of my favorites is the old, "that's the way we've always done it" rule. Righteous! thumb
  23. I can't believe how defensive everybody is of a stupid, and elitist policy like reserved seating at a high school game, especially in a tournament. Maybe when the playoffs come around you can sell out the gym to home town fans, and when the host team plays tell everybody to leave the gym for the "season ticket holders". I agree that hosts should be hosts, not snobs. We also sell season tickets, but they are for a season of general admission, not seats "with your name on it". This is High School, not Madison Square Garden.
  24. Wow, TheIceMan cometh with words or wisdom, Not! The beauty of high school sports is that a win is a win, they should ALL be celebrated.
