I have no idea who you are nor do i care but i'm sure that the Pickett fans that actually do know a thing or 2 about basketball would appreciate you keeping your obnoxious mouth shut. It really looks bad towards your team. Pickett will win but Clay won't lay down for them. Try to be more practical!

Its highly doubtful because they have JC, @ PC, and @ Clarkerange all remaining on their district schedule. But as we all i know anything can happen and thats why they play the games!

No JC beat JC that night by shooting so poorly. JC won every other sgnificant stat in he game but that was negated because they couldn't throw it in the ocean!

The devils are rolling into this game on a 9 game win streak, assuming they defeat hermitage springs, and have been playing some very very good ball as of late defeating teams such as livingston, station camp, cookeville, westmoreland and smith co. on their 9 game tear. Should be a very good game as the bees have also been playing well of late. Look for JC to come out with a chip on their shoulder after losing the game the way they did at JC by winning the turnover and rebounding battles and getting almost 15 more shots in the game and still losing by 19. When you when those 3 category your supposed to win but ice cold shooting prevented that from happening. The seniors at JC have never tasted victory against Upperman so you can bet they'll be hungry. I see them shooting the ball much better this time around and winning this one by 6 in a nail biter.

I was sitting on the bench and the player definitely deserved the foul. However Coach Edwards probably didn't deserve his. I mean he yelled at the ref and told him that he thought the call was "bull" but we all know you hear much worse than that on alot of occasions. The only reason he received the 3rd technical was because he asked for it, literally, he said "give me another one"! I know he was just upset and prolly didn't think the official would actually give it to him but that was the reason for it.

Granted they may, i still don't believe they would have made up the difference. JC would have won the game regardless

Oh yeah they'll have an answer they have 4 post players that all can play at a very high level. I see JC winning the battles down low but the key will be to try to contain the exceptional perimeter play of the wildcats. It's gonna be a good one!

Jackson County and Livingston Academy are neither games that PC was SUPPOSED to win. Both games that they are capable of winning but by no means games that they were supposed to win going into them. Give credit where it is due they were better teams on the given nights that they defeated Pickett and at this point in the season i think that both are better TEAMS than Pickett.

I agree Roddy and T.C. are both very talented players and don't seem to get enough touches. PC is loaded with talent and have a great coach in Bibb. They are one of the top teams in the state and i expect that they'll be just fine when tourney time rolls around. I'd love to see JC and Pickett both in the state tourney this year. It may be a bit unlikely for both of them to go but its definitely possible and i see at least one team from district 7 going to the Boro whether it be PC or JC!

Kermit Forkum Gym in Gainesboro Tn. would have to be up there! Big gym packed full of people and they support their Jackson County Blue Devils and Lady Blue Devils like no other!

On Jsckson County's schedule it has them playing watertown twice and being credited with 2 wins and it is doubling up the games in the mid south classic how do you delete the surplus games?

You are correct about that . . . JC hasn't won anything yet but it sure takes alot of pressure off of them holding a lead in the district! Now it puts pickett in a tough situation. It's just as tough to beat JC at home as it is to beat PC at home i promise! JC fans aren't going crazy their simply proud of their team for beating their district rival and gaining the early season lead in the district! They should be proud and excited. I can assure you that pickett's faithful would be on here praising them if they had won friday night, as they should. Good luck to both teams from here on out. Friday night certainly set up alot of intrigue for their next matchup.... Senior night for the 6 Seniors @ JC! Should be a barn burner!

Why is it always the refs or some other excuse? Could it not possibly be that JC is just better at this point of the season ? The refs had nothing to do with the loss JC was winning throughout the entire game with the exception of the (40-39) lead Pickett took halfway through the 4th! They were clearly the better team!

I disagree with you! Jackson obviously showed they are a better team and they'll continue to progress as the season goes along as will Pickett! It's ignorant to say that Pickett is the only team with a chance after JC came out and beat them at home! Give the Blue Devils some credit their good! They almost beat grace already this year, losing on a halfcourt buzzerbeater. So they can definitely compete to go to state. If they can get to substate i promise you they'll compete with whoever it it they play there!
