The dates for the Jr. Sunbelt is June 10-17. Sophomores can go with this team if they are good enough. Nominations need to get to Jason Rice at Rossview for the Jr. team and Marc McMillan at MUS for the sophomore team. This is a great honor for our players and if nominated they need to go. I promise they will have an experience they will never forget. I had the honor of coaching the last two teams that went to the Sunbelt. We need to send the very best players that we can. Get your nominations in!!!!!!!
The Sullins kid from White House. I believe his name is Cody. About 6'1, 215. Throws the ball well. Have seen him several times. Contact Coach Mark Mills.

In order to tryout the high school coach must be a member of the TBCA. We have numerous coaches that have not joined and can't nominate their players. This showcase is a great weekend for high school baseball in Tennessee and I would encourage every coach to join the TBCA and take advantage of the opportunity to get their players recognized. If you would like more info on the TBCA go to www.TBCA.org.
Waldrop is one of the best kids that I have had the opportunity to coach. Never says a word and just does his job. Great composure on the mound, calm at the plate and soft hands at first. It was truly a pleasure to coach Kyle and Harrison this past summer in Oklahoma.
Matt McGahey from Science Hill should be on this list. Rawley Bishop of Houston, and Zach Cozart from Collierville. You can also add the name of James Parker from Wilson Central.
Eric Sampson will play short for Beech once he gets out of basketball. Redsman have you gotten another team for our preseason tournament? If you have not call the coach at East Robertson.
Ryan Wilkes from Central is a great talent. I think his best baseball is ahead of him. Cozart is also a tremendous player who can play anywhere on the field. I had Wilkes, Cozart, and Waldrop on Team Tennessee at the Sunbelt. You could not go wrong with any of these young men.
Wilson Central should be the favorite as they return everyone from last year's team. Mt. Juliet should also be very good. I think it will be a dogfight as it always is.
Soup, Look foward to seeing Harrison and Kyle this spring in Mufreesboro. I enjoyed the opportunity to coach them in the Sunbelt. I think we play a game or two before or after Farragut so I will get a chance to watch them play. Congrats to both on signing early.
