  5. according to what i read it was a very well played game, but brian brohm had a very un-brian brohm like game throwing for under 200 yeards if he doesn't go trinity doesn't go
  6. seems some people are missing the big picture. it doesn't matter if it was real bulletts, firecrackers, or blanks. point is that shouldn't happen. no one should be shooting at anyone anywhere. and if it was blanks or firecrackers no one should be doing things that would throw a crowd into a frenzy that's how mass casualties happen
  7. is he showing signs of getting stronger and faster or was last year a peak for him?
  8. i always thought being calm and rational was the easiest way to get your point across. screaming and cursing does nothing except make people NOT want to listen to a word you have to say
  9. kentucky has 4 classes and i think louisville trinity is the largest school in the state
  10. brohm isn't overrated, granted i didn't see the championship game last year, but from what i was told, he was awesome 500+ yards, and that wasn't like a flash in the pan game for him. a little over average, but not uncommon for him
  11. Shame on you Rockmom. Following me around and such
  12. music affects people in different ways. if the chairman gets him going then it's what works. anything can work, except kenny g

    Wing-T

have you ever seen the pole-cat formation? a center and a QB maybe a runningback, everyone else is split wide and goes into pass routes. far from boring and it's just funny to see
  14. IMHO tennessee is at least more diverse (bad word, but it's all i could think of) KY seems to have practically the same teams in the later rounds of their playoffs every year
  15. what's sweetwater looking like this year ?
  16. i'm impressed. the best i have ever done on a par 3 is a 9.
  17. Well you are entitled to your opinion on the "in game cheering" thing, but at least you are conceding that it is a sports at some level. thank you.
  18. You need to take it off the football field or basketball court. No at a game, we aren't trying to beat anyone, we are trying to uplift the spirit of the people in the stands, but that is only a small part of it. competitions get pretty intense, and there, you are trying your hardest to beat the other teams. to run and tumble faster, and jump higher, and do your stunts with more power and speed than the competition. yeah the weights help you look good, but they also make you stronger and faster so you can get more power in your moves, just like a football player
  19. this may sound a bit sarcastic, but it isn't intended to be. but how much faith do you really put into scrimmages? are they played like actual games or is it more the coaches tinkering and seeing if different combinations work, and even sacrificing points and/or field position to find things out?
  20. so would you say that a gymnast, competeing in a floor exercise routine isn't an athlete, and gymnastics is not a sport. because the training for that is similar to the tubmling needed to be a cheerleader. and we lift weights. granted we aren't bencing twice out body weight but we don't need too. following that logic, football linemen are much more athletic than receivers or DB's because they do more in the gym and take more punishment on the field
