What about the long time assistant Coach Jones? Did they not want him to be head coach. He had run the defense for many years.

I want to say what a pleasure it was to see number 72 for Harpeth last night. He was the only senior left on the team. This young man didn't give up on his team, he didn't walk away from the commitment he made. He was the only senior that has become a MAN. Being a man is taking the hard road when no one else will, being committed and loyal to his team and his school when the ship was sinking. I am proud of this young man and wish him the best. It was amazing when they called his name for senior night he recieved a standing ovation from both Harpeth and Lewis Co. side. He had earned not only the respect of his hometown friends and family, but the respect of his opponents. Congratulations to #72 and good luck in all that you do. thumb

How are the players adjusting to the new head coach? Do they have a new offense or defense?

I know that Dickson lost some key people last year and their head coach and an assistant coach. With all that was lost, how good are they going to be?

The game is this afternoon. Should be a good match up.

When I was no more than a mere lad, my dad took me to see a movie called the Bear. It was playing in the movie theatre about a year after the legend Paul "Bear" Bryant past away. It had to be the best movie ever made. It put the junction boys movie to shame. I don't remember what happened, but the family or the school refused to let them let it come out on video. If you remember this movie tell me what you thought about it. IT WAS GREAT!!!!

Does anyone know who the new head coach is going to be? Are they going to have a good team? When is their spring practice?

I have heard many rumors on here about who has applied. Does anyone actually know beyond a shadow of a doubt who has applied, and if you know how did you find out.

Have you heard of anyone new applying for the head coaching position in Mt. Pleasant?

Has anyone taken the Adamsville job yet? If not who are the people they are looking at?

My sourses from Mt. Pleasant tell me that Coach Bassham is not interested in the job. Coach Rice is interested but they are using him as someone they would like to have, but are looking for someone better. Coach Cox name has been brought up, but he won't get the job. The principal is wanting to talk to Coach Watkins or Spivey from Lewis Co. He is interested in what they have to offer. He is also wanting to talk to Coach Whitacker, but this is more to be nice than anything else. This is all the information I have for now.
