  1. Having watched Goodpasture for 14 years and seen them twice the last two weeks. Camden does not have a chance. Goodpasture has the speed of the Riverdale team that we played several years ago. One of the best teams that I have ever seen on the high school level. That is why they play them...but I don't see this as even close. Goodpasture by at least 4 scores. The only way that the score stays close is if Coach Martin decides to keep the public/private crown quiet and does not run it up. He had 1st and goal against CPA with 2" left in the 1st game 2 weeks ago and took a couple of knees. He could have laid a 5 spot on CPA that night.
  2. Boys I have news for you I dont know if you have looked at the A/AA middle region but they have 3 guys under 16 in the 110s 1 Skaggs, Anderson Martin Luther King HS TN 15.21 10 2 Beavers, K.J. Goodpasture Christian School 15.33 8 3 Thompson, Brent Page High School 15.93 6 So yeah 16s would be slow I guess
  3. Thankyou, my son is a pole vaulter and the middle region is tough and he jumped 12' and got third we know he beat all of the east sectional and thats why we are waiting thanks again for anyone that has info.
  4. That is why I am somewhat 'perturbed' at the West's lack of info. I am in Nashville and need to make travel plans. It's frustrating to sit and wait while hotels fill up, etc. I have tried the CA website, etc. and cannot find any results.
  5. Does anyone know when or where we can get the 'official' results from the A-AA West Sectional? It's getting pretty frustrating trying to make possible plans for next week when all the other regions have posted and these kids are left hanging waiting for possible at-large berths....any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  6. Great game girls! Congrats and we'll see you on Wednesday at the STATE! Pictures are posted at cpapix.com
  7. Which way do the local fans from Wayne Cty., etc. feel is the best way to travel from Nashville? Do ya'll go Natchez Trace or do you go through Columbia? I would appreciate some advice from those that make the commute frequently. Thanks

    CPA Rolls

Pictures from tonight's game are posted... thumb
  11. thumb You might need faster lenses....aperture 2.8 or smaller Maybe faster ISO...I shoot 1600 at most high school games...some 800 before dark...last night was all 1600 Shutter speed needs to be 350 or above...usually as fast as you can get with the other two variables as mentioned above.... I don't use flash because it produces more variables and can be tough to control I do have some Collinwood pics, I'll post them to my CPA page when I can....
  12. yep....I'll have to check my archives You may not like my angles too much....Landers long runs, qb sacks, Travis going long, etc. I'll have to see what I have left....these things eat hard drive space...I may could post them to my Shutterfly site and give you a couple of days to order some, then take them back down...but it may be next week before I can get to it...check the CoachT photo gallery...some should be there still

  18. I may have to venture up to that area...especially if it rains again....maybe when the boys return to the friendly confines of the "Den" thumb
  19. All shots are always in focus and sharp.... I shot S mode in 500 speed and 800 ISO while light, after dark, switched to manual. Wide open aperture 2.8 and 1600 ISO, speed varied from 250 in end zones to 500 at midfield. I shoot lots of photos and dump them as I go. Probably shot 300 frames, dumped 150 at the field, and culled down to 90 when I got home. I would not keep some of what I posted from a critical view, but for some kids, those are 1st catches, tackles, etc. and parents love them. This new D2H has 8 frames per second....that's flying! It made shooting so much fun. The rain hampered me in the 2nd half. Feel free to ask me anything you want.... email can be found where I post the pics.
  20. Nikon D2H with a Nikon 300mm 2.8 lens....no cropping...posted right out of the camera...lighting was tough...Goodpasture's field is well lit in the middle third with lighting dropping to almost unshootable in the 10 yard line to end zone areas. 1st night with that camera...gonna be a fun season...thanks
  21. My Shutterfly Page I just finished posting 89 photos from tonight's game. Enjoy!

  23. Go to the games previously from last week. The FRA and Goodpasture game had the best crowd picks. I love the face paint. ATTENTION ALLCPA FANS: THE MORE FACE PAINT AND THE NEATER AND CLASSIER IT IS, THE BETTER SHOTS AND BETTER CHANCE WE HAVE OF WINNING SOME PHOTOS CONTESTS! BE CREATIVE...............
  24. The pictures from the game are posted. The reverse dunk is primo.
