Humboldt has a good team if they limit turnovers they may win the game Friday night. I still pick Dresden at home. It really does not matter what LC had they lost. The point was the Humboldt defense can be run on.

I agree 100%. If Humboldt turns the ball over 4 times then it will tough sliding for the vikings.

First, I am talking about Dresden and Humboldt. Second, I was just making a few points about Humboldt's defense. So, I am perfectly within topic of the up coming game. Like I said the vikings have a good team and I am taking nothing away from them.

What people fail to realize is that the falcons had two backs rush for 130 apiece last night. If Dresden can run the ball and I know they can throw it better than most in this area then they will win. Humboldt defense is very suspect whether they want to admit it or not. Dresden is all about defense. I have seen both play and Dresden is a much better defensive team than Humboldt.If the falcons did not turn the ball over in the red zone last night we would not be discussing this game today but they did. Humboldt is also turnover prone and that will be the difference in the game. I know Humboldt fans will say they are a balanced offensive team but not really.The pass is not the strength they think it is. Humboldt best bet is to get in the I and pound away. Humboldt fans say Reid did not show anything last night. That's a load of bull. He showed his true offense with McLilly. I am sure they will be forced by Dresden to jump in the spread because Dresden will shut down the run. Humboldt has a good team but Dresden has a better team. Good luck to both.

I think Humboldt's best chance to win the game is to stay in the power stuff and away from the spread. With that said, I think Dresden will win the game at home by at least 10. No reason just a gut feeling. Good luck to both teams.

One LC fan called Dresden arrogant. I really don't have a problem with it. Support your team. That's what it is all about. On the game UC will win big. As much as it pains me to say this, UC is the best 1-A in the west and will play in Cookeville for a state title.

You are correct. LC started several underclassmen this year and should add several incoming freshmen and a few kids from the high school that did not play this season. LC should be much better next season. I like the direction LC is heading. Good luck to the Vikings in the rest of their playoff run.

Congrats to Humboldt on the win. Game was closer than the score indicated. LC five turnovers really done the falcons in. 2 inside the five yard line. Thanks to the seniors and the underclassmen hit the weight room and get ready for next year. Oh, by the way the yardage in the game was about as even as it could be. Humboldt outgained the falcons by 5 yards. Anyway, good luck next eek to both Dresden and Humboldt.

I was also on the sidelines and Humboldt did not sub early. LC out gained the vikings 360 to 150 in yardage.The vikings scored two offensive touchdowns that night. I do not think the vikings will benefit from 7 turnovers this time around. At least I hope not. This game will be a better game than some think. The falcons are focused and ready. If I'm wrong and Humboldt wins big, I will be on here to say I was wrong and give credit to the vikings.

I have not seen Lake County so focused on a game in years. Humboldt may very well win but they will not blow out the falcons and do not be a bit surprised if Lake Co wins the game. Humboldt has plenty of athletes but so do the falcons. This game will come down to which coach makes proper adjustments. I really like Lake County's chances in that department and in the game.

McLilly is a stud no doubt. LC will come to play and hopefully Humboldt will not get 7 turnovers this time. LC will give Humboldt all they want with or without McLilly. The falcons are a very focused bunch right now. The question is Humboldt focused. I expect a very good game.

I will tell you this. The falcons wanted this match-up. Now, I do not know if that is a good thing but that's the match-up they wanted. Who knows Humboldt might blow the falcons out.

Humboldt. may very well beat Lake County in the playoff's but I will guarantee you the falcons will be ready to play. This is not an easy first game for the vikings. the falcons may pull the upset if you can call it that.

Don't be so sure Bruceton to does not slide to quad 3. Lake Co has 3 very winnable games and that would put them in the playoff's in quad 4. West Carroll has a very difficult road the last 3 games and probably needs to win 2 of them. That may be a tall order.

I have seen both UC and Humboldt. UC completely dominated the LC defense and offensive lines. LC did the same thing to Humboldt last night. The trenches are where games are won and UC is superior in that area. I will be very surprised if Humboldt wins this game with or without McLilly. As much as it pains me to say this UC is the best single A team in the west this year. Single A is loaded in the west but I think UC will be in Cookville this year. NCS is not the factor they think they are. Good luck to both teams.Peabody is a very good team and will be a factor in 2A.

Lake County is improving on both sides of the ball. Cut down on turnovers and LC might have something. LC has a very young team who are getting better despite what some may think. The coaches are doing an excellent job considering they put a whole new system in and you can see improvement in the falcons. That's really all you can ask your coaches to do is improve his team and that's what is happening. LC could or should have beaten Humboldt last night. Give Humboldt credit they held on and won the game. Good luck Vikes the rest of the year. LC you can achieve your goals and make the playoff's who knows from there. Take care of business against So. Fulton, Greenfield and Gibson CO.

Wasn't talking to you in particular. Was just talking in general but if you take it that way then so be it. LC fans as you well know are notorious for showing up when our teams are winning but when we struggle they run and hide. Alot of people are mad about things that are happening in the school system but that has nothing to do with the kids that are playing. I completely understand your reasons in particular so no I really wasn't referring to you.

Peabody is the best team LC has played to date. Peabody should handle Halls easily.

I am going to catch heat when I say this. Please don't get me wrong when I say this because I like most poster from LC on here. Yes, this has been a transition year for the falcons. They are improving even defensively. LC has a young team and will get better. Now, in saying that LC fans should be at the games supporting this team regardless. If they were 7-0 right now you would all be there. Remember none of the kids or coaches go out each and every Friday to lose. It hurts them alot worse than it does any of us. Believe me I know by experience.
