This is far from a toss up. Union City at best is the 3rd best team in the quad. If I were a beting man my pick would be Huntingdon out of this quad. I will say the winner of this quad will be playing in Cookeville.

The kids that play in the secondary are young players who will get better. If someone on the sidelines were better they would be playing. The falcons have been saddled with a rash of injuries this year and have not overcome them. The majority of the team plays with heart sometimes things do not go to plan. As a team, the falcons are not playing well right now but they are in the post season. All teams have an 0-0 record. Falcons have a uphill battle at Huntingdon but anything is possible. Maybe the falcons will play lights out and surprise people. I will be there regardless of what happens. Bigster, you know better than to come on here and call kids out. You are better than that. You know they are playing as hard as they can. Man just support them and know that they are giving their best effort.

Footballcaller, I have openly admitted that I know nothing about Humboldt this season. I have heard they have a great back. I have no idea what you are talking about with this disrespect thing. I said at the beginning of the season that Humboldt is the team to beat in the district. If that's disrespect then so be it. I think the game between Humboldt and LC will be a great game.

Do not believe any Lake Co fans have disrespected Humboldt at all. I think it will be a very good high scoring game. Nice try on the disrespect thing.

Halls is much improved from what I hear. Trenton will win this game by 4 td's if they come ready to play.

I do not know much about Humboldt. Lake Co. was able to run the ball on UC and put up over 400 yds rushing on SF. I know SF is not very good. LC has been forced to run the ball the last two weeks due to weather. In the long run this will help LC. I do not think LC will be able to stop Humboldt's run game but all LC has to do is slow it down some. Humboldt I doubt will be able to stop the falcons passing game and I feel like LC will surprise the vikings with the run game.

Lake County needs a signature win and some momentum going into the playoff's. The falcons have come up short against UC and Trenton. With the quad the falcons look to be in, they could make a nice run. The projected teams in the quad are West Carroll, Union City, Lake Co., Halls, Gleason and So.Fulton. I do not think that West Carroll and Union City are heads and above Lake Co. in this quad. Gleason could also be dangerous. I look for a scoring fest with Humboldt and the falcons to make a statement. I hope for a dry field.

I thought Trenton would win but 50-0. Was the SF offense shut down? I figured the Sf qb would do some damage.

Union City played well and deserved the win. The weather affected Lake Co. more than Union City. The falcons strength is the passing game and weather really limited that part of the game for the falcons. Both teams had to play in the weather and Union City adapted to it better than the falcons. I hope we get a chance to play again with everybody healthy for both teams. Congrats to Union City on the win.

This is a good assessment. UC will have the advantage of the line of scrimmage just hoping the falcons can hold their own.

I have said all along this game will be a war. It's one of those games that is too close to call. Of course, I am pulling for my falcons. Hope both teams are healthy and give their best efforts.

I did not understand the on side kicks all night. I know UC did not want to kick it deep but could have kicked it at an angle to the sidelines. UC gave up too much field position. It looked to me that UC coach played not to lose in the 2nd half. Just my two cents worth.

Announcer comment meant nothing. Just some fuel for the fire. Yes, Lake Co is the underdog to most high school football watchers. I to believe this will be a very good game. I'm not sure it's LC game to lose. It's a rivalry game so anything can happen. We like playing the underdog roll. You know that.

I was at the game last night. I also heard what the announcer said. I am telling you this is a game the falcons can win with or without Hyde playing. Trenton was one fumble away in the first half from blowing the game wide open. LC will be able to score alot of points. Must get a few stops and couple of turnovers. I have said all along that LC is better than most think and Union City is not as good as most think. LC will throw alot on UC defense and from what I saw last night Peabody had receivers running wide open all night. The Trenton QB just did not make the right reads last night. UC played with alot of grit last night and turned a bad situation around. The game will be fairly close. I have my opinion on who is the better team but will keep it to myself right now.

I read somewhere that if a kid has concussion it is automatic 2 weeks. Not sure about this.
